Prince William should ‘avoid Prince Harry like the plague’ at the Coronation | Palace Confidential

Prince William should ‘avoid Prince Harry like the plague’ at the Coronation | Palace Confidential. Prince William should avoid Prince Harry ‘like the plague’ at the Coronation, despite calls for the pair to reconcile. That’s the view of the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden, who believes the idea of a ‘jolly reunion’ is fanciful. ‘If I was Prince William, I’d avoid Prince Harry like the plague,’ he tells our royal talk show Palace Confidential. ‘He doesn’t need to speak to him, what he needs is an apology from Harry first for all the things that have been said. Where do you start? If it’s not Oprah Winfrey, it’s the Netflix series, his appalling memoirs where William comes out like some sort of villain from that book. The idea that they’ll have some sort of jolly reunion over a celebratory weekend is for the birds.’ His call comes after reports that the King held a heart to heart talk with his youngest son ahead of the Coronation. The Daily Mail’s royal editor Rebecca English says that among members of the Royal Family, communicating openly like that can be difficult, but says progress may have been made.

  1. Reunión for what? Harry has put in writing so much crap over William because of Meghan … that will never go away and he will continue to do so with his book dealings…….William does not deserve that just for envy

  2. For Diana would be an invitation like slap in her face. Who would like to see how the mistress of your husbend is crowned? To remined you publickly what could you be/have?

  3. I completely disagree with Rebecca and her supposition that William & Harry will find a way to reconcile. There are many, many families that fall out and never reconcile. Some words can never been forgiven or forgotten. What Harry has done is abhorrent and he doesn’t even see the damage he’s caused, let alone have any recognition that HE is the one that needs to issue apologies.

  4. what a contrast between William and Harry. one down to earth, working hard to make people happy and yet look after his family with love and respect, the other filled with hatred and anger ,determined to poison his family while supporting himself with money he receives from doing so , we are so proud of William and Katherine they are wonderful

  5. There was no need to cut the invitation list so drastically! They easily could have accommodated at least double the number of attendees at the Coronation at not much additional cost in the overall scheme of things. It’s a shame that traditional invitees have been excluded in my opinion. It takes away from the Traditional aspects of the Coronation!

  6. I can’t begin to tell you how much this yank appreciates your show and having the three of you together. Jo, always fantastic and prepared with wonderful questions, Richard, so respectful and knowledgeable to the history and members of the monarchy in these modern times and Rebecca, thank you so much for putting normalcy into the royal family. The Queens remarks about your bathroom remodel just shows the royal family are people too. They have real lives, problems, joys, emotions just like the rest of us. Anyway, so happy I stumbled onto your show, it’s become a weekly habit that I don’t intend to break.

  7. It’s a celebration that Meeagain is staying home. Definately all will go well. The troublemaker Meeagain will not be there. That’s enough to celebrate. I’m sure she wasn’t even invited.

  8. I truly enjoy your program! Keep up the good work! Regarding the coronation, I think the "modernized/stripped-down" plans are proving to be a bad decision. King Charles' woke ideology is becoming more and more off-putting. You're never going to please everyone and when I see him attempting to make virtuous gestures it just appears fake and weak. I'd much rather see the Royal Family embrace their unique heritage and traditions. That's what makes following the royal family so interesting. No ancestorial history is without impropriety. Generally, lessons are learned and adjustments made for continued improvement. I genuinely miss Queen Elizabeth. She was a solid leader…quite what is needed during these modern times.

  9. Actually Prince Harry should avoid William. William has anger issues. I pray God's protection over Prince Harry as he travels to and from the UK. Get in Prince Harry and get out asap. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  10. It would be great if the system worked more often like what Lady Pamela Hicks' father did – her older sister inherited the title Countess of Mountbatten in her own right upon the death of their father, Earl Mountbatten. Would have saved so many men so much bother over the centuries (you listening, Henry VIII?). Good to know King Charles III is thinking the same as women have been saying for thousands of years in every nation, language, religion, society, race.

  11. I cannot believe we still have a State Bed! If we are to follow tradition, then perhaps they ought to put that bed back to The Tower – where they once stayed the night before the Coronation?

  12. King Charles will only be crowned king once. He’s had to deal with drama for several years now. No one does pageantry like the British hands down, Piers Morgan is right about that. We want to see lots of people, tiaras, gowns, jewels, regal, etc. We don’t want to see “woke” we want to see celebration and happiness for a change. Have a real blowout a coronation doesn’t happen every day. Have fun push away the drama and live a little with no stress. Don’t isolate people CELEBRATE. We don’t want it to be the H&M drama show we need a break from it we’re suffocating from it please Spare us.

  13. Why is there always talk about reconciliation. That implies both parties were at fault. The dastardly duo have proven themselves untrustworthy & out for themselves to capitalize on any twisted interaction with the RF.

  14. It go both ways, Harry should also avoid William at all cost. Both of them are grown men none is inferior to the other and anything Harry does William can do the same and worse. Not because William might not be talking out as loudly as his brother but if Harry is bad, they are as bad as each other as they are chips of the old block.

  15. The Prince of Wales and Henry feuding is a sad visual on all levels. Every family has issues but Henry splashing them everywhere for all to see, is spiteful and vindictive, not easy to forget. Henry set out to embarrass and hurt William publicly while William remained quiet. How can he live with himself knowing the pain he has intentionally caused?

Henry owes his family, especially William and Catherine, a public apology.
