The Duke of Sussex won the first part of his legal challenge last year when a judge ruled an article about his security arrangements in the UK was defamatory.

But the tabloid was correct. Harry was suing to force British taxpayers – whom he had already branded racist – to pay for his security, having left the royal family and left the country.
