  1. This episode was a lot fun. I have never been to PEI nor Newfoundland, but this episode made me want see both provinces. The happy energy between Christine and Shirley could be felt throughout their segment. Having them come up just after we saw how natural fibre is transformed from shearing to yarn was perfect.

Glad that you both got a lot of content, in spite of Fiona.

Thanks for sharing and happy that you’re both back home and safe. ❤❤

  2. Great Cdn episode. Loved it all from the joy of PEI to the fun with the Saltwater duo. One of your best. So sorry you missed the Fibre Festival but hope you will return and venture further inland across the great vistas of the Cnd shield, the prairies, the rockies, and the west coast. Lots more fibre farms and animals and mills and Cdn stories from coast to coast.

  3. Thank-you for another fantastic episode. As an Canadian I have visited NFL, it is a great place to visit. The Saltwater ladies are wonderful story tellers as are many Newfoundlanders. A note to add to the story about Briggs and Little Yarn. I had purchased a sweater on a visit to New Brunswick, about 15 years later I decided I would like the sweater to have longer a longer body and sleeves. I purchased the colour and reknit the sleeve cuffs and hem, you would difficulty seeing the difference! 🇨🇦

  5. Despite the disappointment of the cancellation of the PEI Fibre Festival, you and Madeleine really made the most of your visit under trying circumstances. You still worked hard and so did all of your guests. We were staying just down the road from Point Prim, and left for home in tears (New Brunswick). I knit the moose hat using Samoyed yarn and Briggs and Little yarn from Belfast Mini Mills. Such a lovely interview with the Saltwater authors. I have yarn from Fleece and Harmony and McCauslands as well as one of their blankets. You introduced me to the Cabin Boys. This lovely episode was a balm and as usual made my day. I’m proud to be a Patreon—a couple of coffees a month is such a small price for quality interviews and the wealth of information on your website. Well done, Madeleine on highlighting the website.

  6. Madeline, I love your sweater, it is such a pretty color on you. May I ask what pattern you used. I am enjoying listening to you and your mom what a lovely relationship you seem to have. I have caught some episodes with your mom and dad also which I also enjoyed. Please accept my condolences. Thank you for your wonderful podcasts. Iris Hermann💕
