  1. 🤨Primogeniture did not favor Rhaenyra for being from the first wife. The only line that matters is decent from the monarch, not any of their consorts.

  2. Does anyone else think the "older Aegon" actor looks younger than the "young Aegon"? I think the younger one embodies the character better and should've been kept on. Maybe episode 8 will change my mind.

  3. The window scene shows how opportunistic Alicent is. She should have punched Aegon in the face for being such a creepy perv but instead motivated him to become king despite bad education and lust.

  4. Aegon has three siblings, aegon was never known to enjoy cruelty rhaenyra got what was coming, aegon was brave, aegon is nothing like Joffrey and is the rightful king, although eat the rich and let the royals of both sides burn I’ve no love for either side

  5. the main victim of the dragon dance. he never wanted to be king, he supported Raenira's right to the throne despite the fact that his mother inspired him with fear of her all his life. he was forced to marry his sick sister, their little son was brutally murdered. He fell astride a sunfyre and broke his ribs, thigh and received burns on half of his body, was tied to bed for a year. was forced to flee and hide on the dragon stone. In a fight with Beyla, he broke both legs and lost his dragon. As a result, he took the throne, refused poppy milk to be sober and rule, spent the rest of his life in terrible agony and died at 23. Remeber he was just a child who wanted to live his life.

  6. This story is actually so tragic when you think about it. There was no way to avoid it for Viserys. The only thing he could have done differently is not be so quick to name a different heir.. but I see his reasoning.

  7. i think Rhaenyra and Daemon immediately fake murdering Laenor to marry each other confirms they’d stop at nothing to get what they want. they were able to fake it with Laenor, bc he’d want to disappear and find love. but Aegon would have been a constant threat to Rhae’s rule. Daemon and her would very likely have him and Aemond killed.
