Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces investment in nuclear industry



Rishi Sunak has announced extra funding in the nuclear industry, as he visits the home of the UK’s nuclear submarine fleet, Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria.

The prime minister said the government was making a “transformational investment” to safeguard the country’s future.

  1. All that is good, but Britain needs Six new Nuclear power stations Now! Trouble is it's takes about 20 years to get one! 10 years is spent talking about it & ten years to build it, by then we'll need about Ten new stations! If we're still here?🤔

  2. The Chinese consulate man famously said that the UK has made itself a vassal state to America. It must be true or it would not behave so inconsistently before and after Brexit, "help" Hongkongers to come to the UK to give it a "brain drain", sanction Xinjiang goods but say nothing about terrorists in Xinjiang, spy network in Hong Kong triggering the legislation of a national security law which China or any country is entitled to make, not to say the weapon and media support afforded to the genocide of Gazans. This is why I don't believe anything in the British media anymore. It's against freedom and equality of the world's races living together peacefully.
