  1. I think they're great. They occupy a specific role and perform it well. They're great for clearing out light infantry and sneaking around. They're not overpowered because if you display their positioning they can get wiped pretty quick

  2. Imo they're pretty obsolete now they cost so many points. Everybody knows by now how their 3 inch "surprise" works. Theyre only good in Turn 4 or 5 otherwise they just die if you play against a good opponent. Also their damage is very swingy. Really not worth the points to grab some secondaries. Scouts, jump intercessors or even outriders are a way more interesting option for this job now.

  3. too expensive, for 130 points they shouldnt be used to do actions (too expensive) , also they dont fight for objectives – they will not steal any – they descent, kill sth or not, and they die in return, also many armies have composition that makes inceptors useless, and paying 130 points to do 1 action is crazy bad, so – to sum up they were great before nerf, now they are not worth 130 points (in most matchups)

  4. As the guy who's totally in love with all things gravis, naturally I'm a fan. That being said, they are far too expensive for what they do. Not unusable, but definitely overpriced.

If Space Marines (and I'm talking codex here, not BA, DA, etc.) were a top tier army, winning 55% or more of their games and in need of nerfs, I'd say the points cost for what they do was steep but totally acceptable. But given how mediocre-at-best SM are and have been all of 10th, the points nerfs were excessive and unnecessary. Especially when combined with the dramatically reduced number of shots each model gets. All of this could be said of Aggressors as well. GW seems to think that gravis is much better than it actually is.

  5. Sustained 2 is stupid strong for overwatch. I've had a squad of 3 put out 20 wounds against my squad of plague marines one overwatch. If you're the oath of moment target then you cannot move when in overwatch range of these guys.

  6. I think I'll shelve them once the Culexus goes live, since I usually doin't want them for their output.
But maaybe I'll just end up using a squad of six just for their output since I won't need them for some missions.

  7. I absolutely hate the " fully armored space marine further encased in even bigger space marine armor" design trend. Inceptors, Centurions, ATVs, those stood Grey Knight suits. I didn't care that they're good, the first frame of your video disqualified them from my army.

  8. The unit always looked bad to me.
It's like most of the first wave of primaris something GW made because they were closely copying Starcraft 2 and they did it in the worst way possible by making a special armor for it that doesn't match at all their supposed job while creating unnecessary bloat on the roster.
These guys should just have been a special loadout for the generic jump pack intercessors, simple as.
"but they are gravis profile"… Yeah, and as Auspex said, with how expensive each model is, they don't have any real resilience.
They should have been sold by 5 and use the regular tacticus profile.

  9. Ive been running them as Thallax for a few years now and I can tell you this: No matter how good or bad they are it never gets old dropping a plasma squad right behind an enemies unit and blasting them off the map.

  10. They're still a tad expensive, but have a lot of good uses. I tend to use small squads of three with the bolters for backfield utility work. For actual firepower though, I'd go with the big brick of six with the plasma. With Oath and Twin-Linked on the plasma exterminators, they'll do a crap ton of damage to whatever you shoot at. Just pray that the hazardous rolls don't get you too badly!

  11. Stormlance has a Strat to give them sustained hits (because they already have assault)

It seems like a real nice buff for plasceptors that won’t get foiled by invulns

Wind swift evasion ain’t bad either

  12. Would these guys be good in firestorm. You could drop them in within 6 inches get the plus 1 strength and then give them plus 1 to wound. Overcharge and you could really wreck some tanks.
