A tiny woman against a hulking alien nightmare? A CGI bear that looks absolutely unbearable? Some Pred-heads are really gunning for Prey.

I still don't like the look of the Predator and what mask is that it's wearing??
Their are different species of Predators so the look didnt bother me at all. The only thing I hated was the main lead. She was very unlikable in my opinion and the sudden change to badass was dumb. Also the fact that her brother did a great job fighting the Predator while she just dicked around with a weapon instead of assisting her brother.
The redesign ain't the main problem at all!
The old predator version is the beast. I do like the new versions. but I always keep going back to the old version again and again. and I still enjoy watching them.
The girl was not good for films actor.🤦♂️
Victory for predator
I really enjoyed the movie even though yes some flaws were seen but what movie doesn’t have these. I like how she is the one to stand up because during that period in time, women were looked down on as being a warrior. So it plays a role how the men did act. True how she was able to defeat theme in camp and predator was pretty black widow like moves, when you go in full warrior mode, sometimes a different you shows and that’s what I feel happened to her plus her using her brain. The only part that gets to me most is her big fight scene at the end with predator, how did she find enough time to get as far as way as possible able taking the helmet to sharpen enough sticks to hang and rest of the trap while predator tracked her down by the blood from the leg? 🤔 did predator just decided to take a long ass break yet not long enough to be daylight where she traveled all that way to make it back to camp just as the sun was rising? Little odd to me but still enjoyed fight sequences as well finding a way to slice off one arm lol. Bloody amazing 🤟
The way predator ends up dying is stupid, and I can see I'm not alone in thinking so. He knows how his weapons work, he wouldn't just stare at his mask like …..duhhhhhh what's that.
Everyone's a critic. This clearly is the predator movie we've been waiting for since the first one. I love the idea of the predator as a hunter that hunts prey for sport but all the other movies just fell short of the mark for me. I fully enjoyed this film 8 out of 10.
Just the fact that Prey is getting compared to the original is a huge accomplishment.
Resent instalments in the franchise weren't even worthy of that.
Place a list of complaints of 2018's The Predator next to Prey's and see how that plays out.
If the flintlock "easter egg" poor excuse of a prop nod lazy gimmick is not here because of the huge expanded universe retcon and subsequent plot hole it ensues aint here, Imma rage fam 🥲
Edit: it was, and my geeky dorky fanboy zeal is placated, for now.
Milking this cow for all it's worth huh 👎
Great film
I think people are missing that this predator is a teenager
The biggest problem is that it’s another “strong woman versus the patriarchy” completely unrealistic movie where we are asked to suspend all disbelief and root for a pointless, weak woman (who magically has magnetic tomahawk skills) against a 7 foot tall, superior alien race.
In my opinion, why the predator franchise always ends up as a not so great movie, is that they try so hard to make the predator die, which then ends up with the predator having to do stupid shit like being clueless
None of it upset me.
Movie was good, didn't care about the design. The one thing I didn't like about this predator, is that it seemingly had no idea how its own targeting system worked.
This film was bad. No subtitles was 1 of the things I didn't like
Im not watching these forced "women are badass" movies anymore. At this point its just embarassing
Since when did it take a whole bunch of soldiers to take out the predator in the original film? IIRC, that was the other way round, up until only Dutch was left.
Naru character ended when she got body slammed by the predator. With no muscular physique, that wouldve knocked her out.
Prey has definitely breathed new lease of life to Predator series, seasoned directors couldn't do it and were bleeding the franchise…Dan Trachtenberg has sort of redeemed the series. Having said that while the plot and screenplay is good there are few apparent loopholes which are quite glaring and could have been easily avoided by someone like Dan Trachtenberg. To begin with the feral predator takes too many hits and continues on with the fight as if nothing happened, It takes on too many opponents without thinking twice about it (In spite of its superior strength, firepower and camouflage original predators never under estimated their enemies)…Predators enjoyed their hunt rather than just the prey whereas feral predator seems to be in just for the fight ! Trappers seemed just to be waiting to take the hit from feral Predator they don't seem to make the minimum effort even to move away from the line of fire…Finally the climax eats the cake, How can the feral predator miss the laser pointer from its own mask it was glaring across its right temple !…Feral predator rising from bog pit seems to be an pun on the "Nun" and it should have been obvious to even a feral predator why Naru is not moving away from his line of fire !…In spite of its inconsistencies "Prey'' is thoroughly watchable film partly due to the fact its sequel's have been such a disappointment !
Predators do care if it's a female. In Predator 2, the predator didn't kill that lady bc she was pregnant
wtf andrew tate talking about the predator franchise for
Didn't like the Movie it was boring asf it was too much like the first one with Schwarzenegger. All i want to See is a movie about Yautja Prime without Humans
I figured the feral predator, much like Naru, sa young inexperienced hunter trying to make a name and that is why he isn’t as menacing or ferocious. If you recall in the Adrian Brody version they were different levels of predators some which hunted the others
I went in with an open mind and took the movie at face value. It was a stripped down survival film and I really enjoyed it for that. There were some some cringe moments throughout, but I didn’t mind, it was fun! And violent
Predator: doesn't immediately attack the man pretending to be dead.
Naru: "the only logical conclusion to be drawn here is that the creature sees only heat and couldn't see the man because of the magic herb I gave him which drained all the heat from his body. Therefore I will fully trust this theory and use it to attack it, confident in the knowledge it won't instantly murder me."
I take it the Mary Sue, strong female character, who is just better than everyone including the Predator who has no learning or character arc, isn’t on the list then?
The whole movie upset me…not good..the Pred looked stupid and fake like the rest after P2
We need to see a predator actually eating something!
Mayo ppl always thinking EVERYTHING is made for them. This is a Native film, for Natives, by Natives. Land Back! ✊🏽
The one about him killing the unarmed injured tracker is simple and has precedent in the first film. Hunters frequently have to finish off animals they wounded earlier. So his current status as helpless wouldn't matter after he had previously been targeted.
On the flip side, he decided Naru wasn't worth his time and had nothing to do with her being female. Prey animals can be dangerous (never mess with a deer), so even though she carried a weapon, she wasn't aggressive enough to register as a predator animal. Alternatively, the Predator might have decided she was another hunter's kill when she got caught in the trap, since they never have the Predators spell out the rules they live by.
The trapper had previously been marked as his kill, while she had previously been dismissed.
I think it's a good film each to there own
The poor CGI???? It was released on HULU and not in theatres. I didn't expect it to be that good, but the movie was fantastic overall
