I love the Predator franchise and its monster because I love the concept of this intelligent hunter with a sense of honour coming from outer space and searching for the biggest prey it can.

This film transports us back hundreds of years which just by itself is genius because we’ve only seen modern weaponry used to fight predators until now. Using a Comanche tribe as main focus is really cool as well and we see their combat prowess from the beginning, so they are far from being a pushover for the predator.

Amber Midthunder (such a cool name) was an excellent choice to portray the protagonist because Naru is such a likable and great character. Constantly underestimated for her combat abilities, we see her use that and her wits to fight the predator. We see some amazing action here, coming really close to the original in the end but that to me is still the best.

If they continue the series in a way like this I’m all on board.

Thank you for supporting the channel, I really enjoy talking about films and TV shows. Let me know in the comments below what you thought of this film and if you have recommendations for others.
