Coyote not wolf. Did you not get the Bugs Bunny, Willy E. Coyote chase scene? And wolves rarely hunt alone, coyotes do all the time.
You've got way too much free time on your hands.
One thing I don't get is how can he Camouflage without his armour let alone no clothes, obviously, it's his tech that does it not his body, but yet he still does it, how?
I honestly liked the movie .. it was very good… Not great… Not Predator by any means but definitely top 3…
But my issues…too WOKE… Strong female eats to prove herself blah blah better than any man blah blah…
I do like the day showed you using some of her skills as she learned over the years and practicing…
But she really had no struggles she had no weakness like most strong female leads she had no problem fighting anything she finished the predator off of ease not once was she in danger for her life not once did you think that she was going to die facing the predator
In predator Dutch got beat the heck by The predator you thought at one point he may not win this, of course strong lead in predator had to face a lot of different things which changed him at the end of the film.
She wasn't changed at the end of the film maybe a different role of Chief or something it was a good movie I enjoyed it but they need to stop giving strong female leads everything and fight for nothing got to give him a reason to be behind the character look at what marvel has done to her female leads even Star wars

Maybe the predators were waiting for our species to advance and evolve a little before hunting us? That’s why this is the first hunt. Not necessarily their first time on the planet. That’s the only thing I can think of.
The predator finally met his match in the final girl.
The Predator from Prey was working it's way up the food chain. Fighting other Predators. Snake, Coyote , Bear and then Human. Didn't look like recon to me

The children’s story Naru tells made me think that the predators have been to earth before and only the one in Prey hasn’t been here before.
I do not recognize the existence of The Predator, Predators, or any of the AvP movies. It just makes everything better and easier.
I was reminded of the classic Indiana Jones scene, when Indy brings a gun to a knife fight. A trapper is flipping his knife around & Predator throws a trap at his head. No gun but equally efficient. Prey was so good. Better than the first IMHO. Definitely better cinematography & music.
We need the sequel to this film. I very enjoyed the scenery.
I always thought the tube connections to the mask was to provide cooling to the multi-spectral sensors, rather than breathing gas for the Predator. For example, coolant for the thermal imager in a hot environment. The tubes gave off a positive pressure hiss and impression of vapor when disconnected.
Why are you assuming that the predator is doing recon? I don't recall anything in the movie stating that. I assumed it was a hunting expedition like the others.
The Predator wasn't that bad, it was fun, which is what these movies are supposed to be. Also, Who cares about the continuity, just enjoy the movies… That type of mentality is driving me nuts… Omg, the spear was it this movie which makes it canon blablabla…

4. Terminator 2: Judgment Day – Set in 1995
5. Predator 2 – set in 1997
6. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines set in 2004
7. AVP: Alien vs. Predator – Set in 2004 (happens alongside terminator 3, the nuke in the end being sent by skynet/genisys)
8. AVPR: Aliens vs Predator Requiem – Immediate follow-up, Set in 2004 (weyland yutani attempts and is successful in over riding skynet/genisys, using predator technology.)
9. Predators – Apparently set in 2010 (happens on a different planet, possibly all the 'assassins' are from 2004 pre- requiem, and kept in stasis for space travel for 6 years without their knowledge)
10. Terminator Genisys – set in 2017
11. Terminator Salvation Set in 2018 (change skynet to genisys, timeline splits into 2 timelines, done)
12. The Predator – Apparently set in 2018 (Perhaps after the new judgement day splitting it into 2 timelines?)
13. Terminator: Dark Fate set in 2019 (perhaps after Genisys, going back and resetting it to one timeline, removing genisys and the predator 2018.)
14. Blade Runner – Set in approx. 2019 (perhaps after a new judgement day splitting it into 2 timelines and Dark Fate resetting it back to one? weyland yutani successfully and permanently disables skynet/genisys, morphing it into 'mother' on their new space crafts and the beginnings of the androids like David, integrating alien/predator tech and rebuilding society)
15. Soldier – Set in approx. 2035
16. Blade Runner 2049 – Set in approx. 2049
17. Prometheus – Set in approx. 2092 (skynet/genisys 're-emerge' in the android David, deciding a biological 'terminator' would be more efficient in ending humanity, now that they've become space faring and have spread throughout the universe.)
18. Alien: Covenant – Set in approx. 2104
19. Alien – 30 years later, approx. 2122
20. Aliens – 57 years later, approx. 2179
21. Alien 3 – Immediate follow-up, also 2179

23. All parenthesis happen either in new movies set in the appropriate timelines, or are added to the existing movies ala George Lucas style 'improvements'.
Why do they try to push this as a great movie? It's mediocre at best is that all we can expect now?

This is a epic movie
To be honest I found the movie to be boring. Don't get me wrong the predator scenes were cool and all. But I just found naru winning to unbelievable. And why did her brother say "if it bleeds it can be killed"? I mean he never saw it bleed so where that line coming from beside just pure "nostalgia porn"

To let you know it's this one predators first hunt on earth not the race. The creator said this in an interview.
I frame by frame watched the Naru v. Lion scene and I am pretty sure she speared it dead center. Did she really kill the lion and her brother just take credit?
FWIT, the gun actually came into a predator who was fighting pirates who mutinid on thier captain and shot him in the back while fighting the predator. He gave the gun to the predator with his last dying breath…
Watch predator 1,2 and Prey. The series is a lot better if you forget the other movies exist.
