Terracotta is the most accessible way of doing sculpture. But at the end of your sculpt you have to prepare it. It doesnt take long. You need to hollow it out, watch some of my other videos on the process. After you are finished, turn the scupture upside down and make a vent to the base. This will let air and water escape through the bottom while firing and the solid clay will have a way to contract as water evaporates so no cracks will develop.
