Wall Street Journal reporters Christopher Weaver, Dan Frosch and Gabe Johnson spent more than two years investigating the Indian Health Service, the federal agency that provides healthcare for Native Americans. In collaboration with FRONTLINE, they found that the agency employed a number of problem doctors, including Dr. Stanley Patrick Weber, a pedophile who — despite the suspicions of co-workers up and down the chain of command — continued treating children for more than two decades.

I had a Dr. that I suspect was like that back in the mid `80's. I don't recall his name, anymore (his first name is, David) but, when I started seeing him, it was just for a back case of acne on my upper back and shoulders. The first time he saw me, he gave me a physical, including the bit where he holds my balls and has me cough. He gave me something for the zits and would have me come se him every 3 or 4 weeks to check the progress of the pills. Each time, I'd go into his room and take off my shirt so he could se the progress and then he'd reach into my pants and made me cough again! At first, I never questioned it, I just figured he was trying to be thorough but, after seeing him at least 4 times over as many months and having him do that to me every time, I started getting suspicious!! Seeing as how his office doubled as a day care in the basement of a church, I started wondering if any of the kids there were getting fondled, too!!
Anyway, what d my nuts have to do with getting rid of zits???

The entire IHS system is mistrusted by most Native Americans due to a history of oversight failures by the U.S. government. There is even a history of involuntary sterilization of young women, Yes, in America. I don't use IHS (Tribal Citizen here), but rather use the Vets Administration for my healthcare.

What the WASPs have done to the original American inhabitants, and continue to do to this day and age, reducing them to human debris, just breaks my heart.
This is so very sad. The good doctors were punished and the bad doctor got away with it for YEARS.
This happens in a number of Federal agencies. The best talent is not in charge, only people that follow instructions blindly.

The dogs have always been at the gate, I feel anyway, most reservations seem to be around killing/ missing fields, must be a TOTAL coincidence.

Same scenario with my grandfather, pertaining to his molesting from 5 yrs. To18. Told my mother and that was my fault, I should know better. Never told her again about the sexual abuse!
