When's next round
Reginald??
No longer do I have regrets on not signing up for the tournament. I am not playing caps, you can’t make me!
trading in France triggered Red's inner Napoleon I'll tell ya
Reds full out aggression after you hit France was so confusing. Like dude, you sealed your own fate over a first time break 😂
Ok, a question that will try to "add" to this practice:
What you think would be different between this game and, example, a tournament game? Considering that somehow the cap placements are the same
What you think more experienced players would do (example, for a long time you seemed surprised no one broke your bonuses)
So what I’ve seen with round 1 is everyone acted scared and no one did any Risky moves even if they were low risk high reward
Hi everyone/pete! I have a risk mechanics related question about caps relevant to R2. Hope its okay to ask it here. How many troops do you need as attacker to beat troops that are on cap? what kind of the realistic ratio to have in mind to lose?
Is there a sort of a roll table where u can kind of see whats expected? for caps and for normal territories as well? would be nice. i know you have 4 vs 1 and 6 vs 2 as guarantee and prob 7 vs 3. but when it gets more i dont have that knowledge yet in my mind
what do you roll on 6 troops for example? on and off cap. and does the mechanic changes when the total troop amount gets high?
lot of questions haha just curious where i can find more information on this topic
Take the last capital last , so how does the community staff know if this is true or not during point reporting in tourney ?
haha, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing an opponent waste 100's of troops on an unsucessful cap-hit…
At 56:57 red attacks and loses 183 troops to Pete's 70. How does that math work? I thought the attacker has an advantage when stacks are large.
This seems like a grinder of an episode. I'm glad I won round 1 so I can blow thru round 2
I played a few practice games today for round 2 and I cannot do well. I have to get second with a bounty or third with two bounties for a safe shot at round 3. Not sure which to shoot for capitals in the mix. Seems like I have to just hard turtle to 3 player end game and full suicide for second. It seems easier since its a capital game than trying to get two bounties AND third instead of fourth. Which would you aim for pete?
dangit 32 !!! my guess was 22
Prog caps game + 1:08:00 long video? Don’t think this video ends with happy Pete ngl
The destruction of red after they went full salt mode was very satisfying to watch
Bots don't work on CAPS games.they bail their capital it's first round. They need to fix it.
And if you don't pay you can only earn a certain amount of points a day. Stupid.
nice! hope the tournament will be good as this one…..be careful to suicide players…..
Christ sakes what an absolute stomp
Dam red played that horribly
Pete, almost a flawless game from you, except leaving your dinaric cap unmanned after surprising getting the Greece cap. The way you mandhandeled red was satisfying to watch.
Have you tried the left/right arrow keys for splitting troops? It's a minor thing but helps with speed, especially on board runs, saves moving the mouse over the troop counter so you can be faster selecting territories.
If anyone knows, is Risk (PC) played through an emulator like Bluestacks or does it run on its own program?
GG!
Could someone explain the portal and capital aspect of the game play to a very new player? Thank you in advance
When and where you're going live/ on stream?
Thanks to watching your videos I get three wins straight. Love to see your tactics and adapt some parts to my own play. Also always learn some new things.
27:18 = 69
Really well played, was a joy to watch! What dumbbells do you have there if I may ask? Can you recommend them?
Good luck with your round 2 game!
Big fan of these settings, can’t wait to see the tourney game
Ahh yes.. one of the maps every mobile player looks forward to.. the settings.. the turn timer.. the mode.. it really goes a long way towards equalizing the speed difference between mobile and pc.. looking forward to round 2.. 🫡
Red was big mad about getting poked in France. It's quite a shame they had a bunch of 20 stacks and couldn't retaliate properly, but that's how it be when you're playing it like a fixed game lol
That ending.. that was the most competitive 1v1 I’ve ever seen for you Pete!! You might’ve had the territory’s, the Caps, the portals.. but the speed advantage Clearly was a toss up.. I mean it was really anybodys game there in that 1v1, you’re lucky their pathing sucked and you were able to squeak out the win.. super close nail biter if I’ve ever seen one.. 😂😂😂
Just needs a Well played that one. 👍.
That win was so satisfying to watch !
