Powerful Severe Thunderstorms and a Strong Tropical Cyclone Possible Over Queensland and WA

With a set up for storms today among the best I have ever seen for the south east of Queensland, powerful storms can be expected this arvo. However, it looks like they’ll have to be quick before they are dragged offshore by the trough line. We also spend a good chunk of time babbling away at the WA cyclone threat.

  1. Hi Josh, I'll go out n have a look for ya mate. Jeez she's pretty hot here at Nundah already mate. It's 10:55 in the mornin and there's s few white puffy clouds hangin about, but that's about it mate. I need to chuck a poo so i'm trying not to walk around too much, clenching me cheeks pretty good so no turtle head yet mate. I think she'll be fine today mate, might be a good day for a walk. Well probably not really though cause she's pretty hot mate, probably better off stayin in the aircon if ya got it today I reckon. Or maybe go to the shoppin centre and hang around there for the cold air n what not. But she's fine mateπŸ‘ anyway good work Josh onya mateπŸ‡πŸ‡²πŸ‘

  2. This time of year envy the people in sub tropical zones who can still get a wiff of polar air. No such luck this way just day after day of unremitting humidity, little rain without hardly a breeze. When the wet finally arrives get cooler but be a long time before see polar air again. Cheers Bob

  3. Hi Josh. What wind speeds and rain intensity is anticipated for Karratha on Sunday evening 19th around 5pm? Trying to anticipate if FIFO flights might be operating or grounded. Thanks
