That extra little piece with Zordon at the very end, and Zedd actually having potential to be a good guy was awesome stuff. I'm happy they did things they did with Cosmic Fury.
I went and double-checked Deathryuger and the silver markings are red on the helmet, I'm guessing when the suit was reused for Kyoryu Navy they painted over the red with silver.
My theory about the arm: The reason the Morphing Grid does things like age up a child and get rid of the snout is that the rangers still need the added protection. If it can sense that his arm is strong enough to operate on its own, there's no reason to waste energy covering it up, meaning the rest of his suit can be a bit stronger.
In the wake of finishing the Cosmic Fury video, I went back to past videos, and reaching Super Megaforce with its opening invasion is mystifying in the sheer difference of quality. Cosmic Fury in a limited 10 episodes and budget was able to accomplish what Megaforce in 40 episodes and a big budget could not.
The only issue I really have with SPA is that it’s established in SPD that this has been an organization that’s been around for a while. (Spoilers from here for those who care) The B squad’s parents were established to have been working there, with Doogie and Kat years before they were even born, creating the formula that gives them their civilian powers or whatever. This would have to have meant SPD and the Truvian Empire conflict is at least 25 years old, if not older. SPA is cool, and Hasbro’s attempt to connect everything for the sake of keeping the continuity is very respectful to the fans that care, but it’s gotta make sense imo
Points to the writers for creatively solving the problem of Kai Moya’s availability. Usually, when a Ranger actor can’t film with the others, they contrive a way for the character to be permanently morphed: Tommy in Dino Thunder, Sam in SPD, Scott in the Samurai crossover. Here, Ollie gets a roughly normal civilian-Ranger screentime ratio, he’s just acting opposite rubber suited monsters who could be played by anybody on set.
A funny thing about bandoras palace is that it didn’t originally say that on the front. The people who made zyuranger misspelled the name and it actually said bandra palace.
28:18 Man, that idea of the monster throwing "Nostalgia Bombs" sounds like an actual episode of Zenkaiger (one of the more recent Super Sentai seasons). The monster in that had powers that made people pine for "the good old days" (and the heroes broke free of that power by remembering their "good old days" actually kinda sucked).
I don't think Zack or Trini ever had master morphed. Unless the Omega Rangers from the comics were considered Canon within the series itself. It's possible that Billy Aishia and Kimberly has it via the two coins but most likely besides Tommy. Jason Adam Rocky and Kat would be the only one who morphed into the MMPR rangers that would have one.
In a very appreciably silly way, Zed's fate being stuck in a kind of hell might be their idea of "heaven", if it's leaning on the bad is good for monsters. In a way, it's kind of sweet, he gets to be with Rita for functionally as long as he wants.
I actually had the chance to talk with a representative from Hasbro during the preproduction of Dino Fury, and among the things they and I talked about, I was informed of another reason behind the choice not to adapt Kyuranger.
In addition to the massive cast of rangers, another problem was that, according to this individual, some of the suits were actually so dangerous, for example the pointed visor on yellow's helmet, that the insurance company that covers the production of PR wouldn't allow them for safety reasons.
If this is the end of History of Power Rangers, thank again for another great video. If it is not, thanks anyways. I do love all of them. There was a time a few years ago when Twitch was streaming all the episodes at the time and I was using the info from you to tell my friend why x thing happened on the show.
To me Dino/Cosmic Fury as a whole wasn't bad. It was good. I hope the reboot can do better. PS If they adapt Kiramager for the reboot I would like to see them do a crossover with the Cosmic Fury Rangers.
The concert ending felt like a nice throw back to Dino Thunder's end(one of my personal favorite seasons) and also seeing the Galaxy Megazord in action again(although briefly) made the little kid me jump for joy(Lost Galaxy is my favorite season). Here's to 30 years of goofy greatness
I REALLY hate the idea of rebooting the franchise, simply because… why? 99% of the series treat the whole thing as a whole new thing anyway, all they're doing is preventing cameos. That's it, stopping cameo episodes. Aside from those, nearly every series is pretty self contained, with very few exceptions, like this one. It's a dumb decision.

I was so disappointed by the Megazord toys, last season they added articulation, the toys are just bricks.

For the suits, I like the top, less enthused about the bottom. Just feels… empty. Don't hate it, but… yeah.
