Postgame: Las Vegas Raiders Sink Further Into Abyss with 27-20 Loss to Jaguars

The Las Vegas Raiders season is officially off the rails as they drop another ugly one to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and we have your postgame analysis. After blowing their third 17-0 lead of the season, the Raiders continue to be unable to close out games, let alone play four quarters. Hosts Scott Gulbransen, Murf from Raiders Fan Radio, and Evan Groat of Just Pod Baby/Sportsnaut.com discuss it on our postgame recap.

  1. The Raiders need to tank. They need to lose every single game from here on out. Personally I have seen this movie far too many times they do bad and then at the end of the season they when a couple of games and mess up their draft position. They need a top three draft pick even if they don't use it on a quarterback what they should they could use it on a top defensive tackle.

  2. Josh McDaniels is throwing the game every time they're ahead he changes the play calling or take someone out of the game who changes the play calling when it's working for you. Owners need to get together and make Mark Davis sell the team to someone that has a brain someone that will fire Josh because Mark Davis has no backbone to fire McDaniels..

  3. You make some very good points like in the first half Derek Carr and DaVante Adams did very good, but that is the first half you have the 2nd half to play and players and coaches make adjustments to what you are doing on the field and take away what was working in the first half. To me players play football and at the end of the day the player can make a change during the game in live action. Adjust to what your opponent is doing as you are playing. 🏈

  4. I have been a Raiders fan since the super bowl days and of course we have seen this before. It's been a lot worse. The main problem? Well we haven't had a defense since the last time we went to the super bowl. And THAT'S the main problem.

  5. Everyone's always on Carr but he put up 20 pts with only 1 WR on the team (Renfrow is six feet under after McDaniels buried him alive). What did our defense do again??? Could we have sent out 1 guy on defense and had almost the exact same result???? Yes????? Can't wait til we get rid of Carr and then this fanbase finally gets to see how good we had it with a real QB. I'll feel very vindicated over the next 3 decades when the Raiders are bottom 3 every year and then have to move out of Vegas due to lack of water.

  6. Once Al moved the team to LA, he became more concerned about fighting the NFL Front Office than the Raiders being Champions… the fact that we've had several teams that should've won it all, but were just a quality player away from being Champs, but Davis would draft a Kicker at 17TH OVERALL… or trade away picks for players that were draft busts and were never good in the NFL… or for vet studs that were great, but cost a lot and we still needed a few good/great players, not just 1… or draft a height/weight/speed athletic workout warrior that was never even great in college with the 1st round pick… or sabotage the team by firing the coach before they had a chance to build a team with continuity… or tragically, trading our Head Coach away and then promoting a guy that hated him and had to be talked into coming to the team (by the HC that we just traded) because he hated Al Davis, then we end up losing the Superbowl to the guy that we traded away… yeah, this Raiders team has been mismanaged for 39+ years.

  7. If you've ever had a boss that intentionally sabotaged you, you know that it gets in your head and affects you, you start to make stupid little mistakes that you had never made… that's Carr right now…
The fact that Zeigler never fixed the O Line, and none of his Free Agents have worked, Adams forced the trade and it fell right into his lap.
    that's a recipe for disaster!!!
we've routinely seen McDaniels call plays that make it so the Raiders jump out to a huge lead, then McDaniels halftime energy/vibe kills the players good vibe and his play calling goes to sh¡t and the entire team plays like it and lose…
    McDaniels is the problem.

  8. You have to have a QB that can change the game to win… have to disagree with that. Jiimmy G got to a Superbowl and Matt Stafford won one – neither are "game-changers". Maybe you need that kind of QB if you don't have an elite defense, but if you have that defense then you can still win it all with a mid-level QB.

  9. Finally someone voicing what I've been saying for weeks… the big question shouldn't be about Derek Carr, or the offense, or the defense… it should be about the consistency. I've never seen such a Jekyll & Hyde team – how can we go from looking like we're the best team in the league, and no one can stop us, or score on us… to a team that's incapable of scoring on, or stopping, a high school squad… in an instant?!?

  10. McDaniels,Zeigler, and Davis have no character and it shows how the team is responding to this idiocy. Coach is not an upgrade. A good coach can coach to his teams strengths. This bum doesn't know what he's doing. Set us back 10 yrs. Again ….thanks Mark. A winning product is how you build your$. Not bsing the nation. We aren't dumb. Arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand
