Blood moons replenish everything. Monsters, consumables, and mineral deposits. Same as with BotW.
Also, the spring device is useful for getting height during rainstorms or low stamina to climb mountains. Stacking more on top of each other gives you more height when they launch you (there's a shrine that shows you what they do but I don't remember where it was).
