It is unusual for this to happen and for this ethnic group of men to seek out an orthopedic doctor, let alone the surgeon. For him to do this, tells me that he had something legit going on in his back, knee some type of injury that was very painful. For him to seek out a doctor in this type of field. Reason why I say this you can get these types of medication off Street if you really wanted to. This is what society is not understanding. These type of medications are not coming from the doctors they're coming from random Joe Schmo down the street. This ethnic group to seek out help like this tells me that he has something going on and the doctor wasn't listening so people in this comment group stating that he must have been a druggie, I pretty much doubt it. Because it does not add up at all. Sorry people, but I've seen a lot of orthopedic doctors in many states that I've had to move to, and this isn't the ethnic group that you see.

Doctors aren't prescribing pain meds so freely anymore. These people are becoming desperate & dangerous. If you take pain medications for oncology, MS, or other illness, do pnt tell anyone because you're putting your life in danger. My late husband was on fentanyl & other pain meds for Thyroid Cancer per the nurse's suggestion we told no one & hid the meds in our refrigerator behind several items. We monitored everyone who visited.
If that man had previously threatened his life he should've never been aloud back there! Does anyone remembered the last shooting at Cambell Clinic? The one in Germantown! A couple of years ago?!? The amount of shootings in Memphis is OUT OF CONTROL! When you cannot even feel safe at the doctor's office!
