Officers are investigating reports of a suspicious death in Citrus Heights that happened Monday evening. Police received a report around 6:45 p.m. that there was a person dead inside a home on Sayonara Drive, just north of the Sunrise Mall. Citrus Heights police said officers found the body of a man inside and said it did not appear to be random. The roadway was closed as police investigated, the roads reopened Tuesday morning.
