My husband took his life almost 15 years ago
He had been dealing with alot of heart flat-lines for the past 6 weeks and had severe brain damage from not getting oxygen to his brain. He was a minister. I think about that day every single day of my life. I still see him on the bathroom floor. Thankfully, they had taken the plastic bag off his head. I dont think anyone ever gets through that whole again.

they should charge him for those costs of rescue. It took time away possibly from other necessary rescues

i have struggled with my mental health since i was a kid and have survived multiple attempts on my life. unfortunately i know exactly how this poor man felt when he took that leap, this life is no easy one and it’s even harder to feel as though people care when you can’t ever truly care for yourself. my heart is with that man and his loved ones, you never understand until you’ve been that deep in the struggle through mental health.
