Police in Kayole, are holding a woman in custody in connection with her husband’s disappearance a week ago. Teresia Masese was taken from her residence in the Mihango area of Utawala on Thursday to provide a statement regarding the disappearance of her spouse Evans Moracha. Teresia became a person of interest in the case after filing a suspicious missing person report two days after her husband vanished.

That is always normal. For mysterious death, disappearance, abduction etc normally the first suspect is always the spouse unless you can prove otherwise that you weren't involved. But in most cases it has to be true apart from few cases of business deals, work related disputes or love related.
