  1. I absolutely love the poker tournament because compared to the rest of jingle jam, it has such different vibes in an exquisite way— like when a children’s show like has a scene only the adults understand or when the kids all go to sleep and the parents get drunk and smoke cigars. I literally used to watch by the fire place as a kid and not understand the rules, so nostalgic

  2. As much as I deeply appreciate the highlights video Drakon, I'm saddened at how little focus there is on the actual poker. There's almost no audio from the table talk, tho admittedly maybe that's just how it was on the stream, I couldn't watch it live so I don't know… but it just seems t hardly any of the actual showdowns and results of each hand are included. As much as I love Tom and Pyrion's banter, as someone who actually watches for the silly poker tournament, it's kind of disappointing.

  3. Neither Albuquerque nor Cincinnati are Native names; the former is named after a Spanish town whose name derives from Latin, and the latter comes from the name of a Roman patrician

  4. Cincinnati is named for the Society of the Cincinnati, a group of descendants of military officers that served in the revolutionary war. That society is named after Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, so it could be considered to have a Latin name

  5. Among so many great moments, I laughed so much during the whole Lyds part 1:42:35
Good things happen to bad people, reverse karma. 1:45:18 this whole section was everyone firing on all cylinders. P flax "well, everything" then the back and forth with Tom. Giving a little lecture then "chat said you weren't even watching" lmao
