  4. so again the world building is all over the place again for Pokemon it feels like. I thought Johto+Kanto+Sinnoh were the Japanese regions? where the hell is Kitakami?
    I wanna be more hype because it already seems pretty cool but for a place talking about Area 0 there sure as hell seems to be quite a few new areas that are getting a lot of attention here outside of area 0. also by god these new outfits, just let us mix and match clothes for gods sake.

    complaints aside, I enjoy the new pokemon at least?

  7. This presentation just felt so soulless and so corporate. Like we hardly got any clips at all even. We got the absolute bare minimum of good content and the DLC is so scummy. I mean yeah some of the Pokémon looks cool for the DLC but we don’t even have good side games now like a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon a sequel to XD Gale of Darkness- none of that-. Just vague boring news.

  10. Honestly toy prefer the old way of a full peice new game instead of a dlc?
    I don't mind the cut if pokemon and I don't think anyone buy it for more pokemon, the game was really buggy but I belive the pokedex cutbis becous of time for making the game

  12. The reason why people take your critique more to heart is that in a way you sort of (as a CC) a form of authority

    Now in reality your just a random person on the Internet you don't present or have say in most things but as a person on a platform whether it 1 person or 1000 it's still the ability to sway the conversation

    So when someone says "Pokémon is a Billionaire Dollar Company" with the Accompanied thought that the games make up a huge portion.

    That's factually inaccurate the TCG and Merchandise makes up a Huge Portion the games are glorified advertising that sell well

    But you've added that into the zeitgeist. It should be inconsequential but its put out there and people don't fact check.

    The DLC adds Pokémon to the Dex you don't actually have to buy the DLC to add those new Pokémon You do have to have Pokémon Home to transfer so its still scummy

    The feeling of "This is for profit is still there but the inaccuracy of why takes away from the message" is it fair to hold you to scrutiny especially since your not a Pokémon channel

    Absolutely not for the most part your meming and screwing around. It's meant to be light jabs not full critiques

    I personally don't find the Battle frontier fun and Pokémon Emerald and Platinum don't feel like good post game but I can tell for those who just like to endlessly grind out there Pokémon and battle its a worthwhile experience

    Its why opinions said with a sense of objectivism rub people wrong and while annoying IMO is important.

    Its like the Digimon vs Pokémon debates I love both but even with Digimon having 1500 monsters there's no attachment outside a few and even if the DLC feels scummy to some people man if Digimon World Next Order added even something close to Tundra or Isle of Armor Digimon Fans would have sold there car house and first newborn for the game

    And the fact that the V braclet doesn't do what Go or Sleep does to integrate with the games is even more depressing

    If I had a platform people would say I'm whacking off Pokémon or shitting on Digimon when in reality Pokémon to be honest does the bare minimum but they market the shit out of the IP

    And I just want Digimon to do even just the bare minimum

    TLDR You got a platform people are gonna take everything said as critique and not just your thought unless specified is it fair no but its the Internet

  13. Being real, I would play Unite if it didn't have a Pokemon skin because I like the shorter games and not having anime tits drawn by horny little boys shoved in my face constantly. It's not at all pay to win. It's not an issue if you don't want to play it but people are naturally going to correct your uneducated opinions.

    I'm all for the poop app you were talking about.

    Not a great presentation overall. Great designs on the new Pokemon though. I'm probably going to end up getting the DLC for my living dex. SwSh DLC Isle of Armour was terrible but Crown Tundra was really amazing so I'm hoping it's more like Crown Tundra. Crown Tundra really breathed new life into SwSh for me. But overall not enough info so not really excited and mostly worried at this point. I'm hoping for battle tower of some kind and some kind of Dynamax Adventure-esque thing. I am excited for the disk legendary and seeing how that's implemented.

    I definitely see where you're coming from with not liking how they implement DLC and generally not being that excited. It's a very valid opinion and you explained it well. I think people take more issue with phrases like "there's no post game other than catching Pokemon" because I mean like that's most games if you don't care about other post game stuff. There is post game you just don't like it and that's fine. Like I'm tempted to call you out on how you like Legends: Arceus more (a game about nothing but babying you for 2 hrs until you go out to catch every Pokemon…multiple times and then there's literally nothing else to do) but it's not even really necessary because it doesn't make your opinion on SV and DLC any less valid so I'll refrain from going too far down that road.

  16. Loogamon and the Helicopter dragon are the more interesting "Mon" in 2023, but it my opinion, and dropping 7 new poke designe feels like a akward idea, and make others feels underhwelming when comparing to the legendary or the Paradoxe.

  18. To be fair when it comes to Pokemon it feels like one step forward and a few steps back. But I'll hold my full reservations on the dlc side of things until I know more.
    Though my first impressions are a bit on the indifferent side, though the turtle looking one looks rather nice.
    With that being said if the Pokemon team is saving the Scarlet and Violet stuff for the end of the presentation, then it has to be worth it otherwise just start the presentation off with it.
    The whole Pokemon tcg stuff and the masters info was nice to see and the bit of the pokemon cafe did make me laugh for a bit.
    And lastly just ditch the dumpster fire that is Pokemon Unite and I don't know make a actual game announcement. Like a new Mystery Dungeon ,Pokemon Conquest or even a new Pokemon fighting game or heck even all three.
    Overall the Pokemon day was a bought as bland as white bread. 3/10
