  1. I love Eevee & Gen2, so Super Pokemon Eevee Edition I'm downloading right now.
Project Steelheart I've all over. I loooooove Colosseum. It was a large part of why Gen3 is my favourite. I hope it has Miror B.
Oh nice a new Farfetch'd Story. The first was short, but really unique & enjoyable. Happy to see another in the works.
& yeah Pokemon Conquest is legit one of the best spin-offs I've played in the franchise. & I've played nearly all of them.

  2. If you want a recommendation in which PMD you can start with, there are three games: Rescue Team DX (the originals are a bit janky), Explorers of Sky (the definitive version of the Explorers games) and Gates to Infinity (the easiest game of the series, but it has one of the best stories of the series)

  3. I get a burst of hope everytime i see Arceus ring in a fangame because it makes me think they might be able to do something cool with Arceus, more than whatever Gamefreak has done until now.

  4. I started Super Eevee Edition actually a while ago. It's a really good game but I haven't finished it yet. I highly recomment it tho!

Some of the Games look really interesting! My favorites are PKMN Divulgence (?), Project Steelheart, PKMN Verdigris and PKMN Legacy!

  5. Dude pokemon mystery dungeon is literally a rouge like rpg spin off series of pokemon then again you don’t play any pmd games so you wouldn’t know that although if you do decide to play one I highly recommend explorers of sky since most fans including myself say it’s the best in the series oh and if you decide to play the special episodes I recommend doing them after the postgame they’ll be both easier and some will make more sense afterwards

  6. Hey, I’m the composer and one of the many designers of Pokemon Verdigris! Glad to see you’re excited, we’re hard at work finishing maps, designs and events to get this demo out! (Kiweaf is my favorite too :))

  7. You asked for more about PMD, incomming PMD dump.

1.: Depending on which game in the series you get it is a monster collector.
    2. The games fall into the category of Roguelite (and does so properly).
    3. To actually explain that, your characters explore 1 dungeon an in game day. This is done in a turn based manner, every time your character moves or attacks everything else on the same floor of the dungeon as you do. Each floor of a dungeon has traps, enemies, treasures and a set of stairs to the next floor/boss/out of the dungeon.
4: You can take on jobs that will take place in the dungeon, find specific items, escort npc to certain floors, save npcs on certain floors, and similar.
    5. You can have multiple allies (how many depending on the game), that follow you through the dungeon, there are various ways to control your allies in a dungeon.
    6. And finally for this short writeup. Most of the games give you a random chance to be able to invite to your party a monster you defeat. So the magnemite you were just fighting might suddenly ask if they can join your party.

  8. Why so many not 3d Pokémon games, 2d has such bad quality and so old that they arn’t official, only announce official stuff, like 3d Pokémon games, which are only official games so far.

  9. Mystery Dungeon plays like an Over the Head dungeon Crawler

Dungeons are Randomized on each vist, There are technically 5 Attacks

Regular attacks (A single button press) and Attack with PP Moves

It's basically a Rouge-like as well where you bring fresh Supplies every run through a Dungeon

The story usually has you fight to save a world where only Pokemon live and Humans are simply a myth and never really show up (Though, we usually are a human who was sent to the world)

    Poke Isekai

Still turn based but using Grid Movement each Step or Action is equal to 1 turn

Think D&D But a Pokemon game

  10. PMD would still count for Monster Taming since you can recruit other Pokemon to become a part of your team. It's a vaguely like a strategy roguelike since you need to keep in mind your positioning and the dungeons are randomized every time you enter, but it doesn't have most of the normal rogue-like trappings.

Also Mother Brain in Pokemon Odyssey?

  11. Play the PMD games they are great. I have played them all, and my favorite is explorers of sky and a rom hack that builds on that called pokemon Heaven and Hell version. Hell version changes the dialog completely and adds new features like new dungeons, items, pokemon, etc, and heaven keeps the dialog the same, but also adds new features. I put super mystery dungeon in second place only because of the mechanic that makes it so you can't choose some pokemon on certain days.

  12. Pokemon mystery dungeon is kinda like a dungeon crawler except in PMD you can recruit other pokemon by beating them and they have a chance to join you afterwards except in pokemon super mystery dungeon in that one you can only get pokemon by doing requests. You can get pokemon from eggs and missions in sky too. PMD gates to infinity is the worst by far imo because it made it so you cant recruit all the pokemon in the game like kyrium zekrom reshiram and the fusions but they have boss battles against them so it makes 0 sense why they wouldn't add them

  13. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon plays as a top-down dungeon crawler where you plan out every move, build a team from Pokemon you've recruited, and face off against the randomly generated threats and layouts with that team. The sheer amount of tactical potential from positioning and coordinating your team in a format like this reaches far beyond the ceiling of mainline Pokemon and its imitators. And it is exactly this potential that spurred me to create Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Origins and show everyone how deep it can truly become.

  14. PMD isn't a tamer game, but you can still collect a bunch of friends. Would recommend, but more for the storyline and charm than the simplistic (but fine!) core gameplay loop.
