  1. On the scale this was a 6 for me and, the only reason it is that high was due to ghost, before that it was a 4 easily. The rest is mainly DLC or that PSVR nonsense , which isn't my thing personally.

  2. I’d say the trailer for Ghost of Yotei encapsulates why there is no need for a PS5 Pro. This looks gorgeous, as did the remastered bersion of Ghost of Tsushima. When you think most of PS studios will only have one or two game released this generation, considering how long development takes, by the time the next one comes out, the PS6 will be out. Why buy a more expensive console when the one you already have produces games like this one?

  3. I have a great Idea for an episode – it’s “ranking the state of play but not sugarcoating it for Sony”.

The excuse that oh it’s a state of play not a showcase; well it’s in the September slot, Playstation just can’t seem to afford a showcase these days – you are getting these instead of a showcase.

  4. The last two state of plays have been a lot of fun for me. I like the mix of small announcements as well as confirmation of rumored re releases or first party title reveals. It’s all good fun.

  5. I am so excited for Ghost of Yōtei. I love Ghost of Tsushima. It’s weird to think, but it almost feels underrated. I love the setting and the game looks beautiful. No other game has made me want a PS5 Pro, but Ghost of Yōtei might be the one down the line.

  6. I'm most excited for the legacy of kain soulreaver remasters. I wish they were remakes though… I'm worried they wont hold up and my memory will be tarnished when I realize they werent as good as I remembered.

  7. There is absolutely no way they are ever bringing Jin back lmao. He was a one dimensional and poorly acted character 99% of the time. Atsu will likely be a significantly better character, and overshadow him.

  8. I gotta say, no, I don’t think this presentation was bad. Not at all. But outside of, maybe, Dragon Age, I have no interest in playing anything that was presented.

The remastered, Horizon, possibly. Alan Wake… eh. But nothing else really spoke to me, but for those that are excited for what was shown, that’s great & I’m happy for those people.

But idk, it is what it is. But the presentation was not bad at all.

  9. I'm getting a little tired of the snyd remarks towards Stellar Blade here. Are we STILL whining about a good looking protagonist? Stellar Blade is so much more than that and deserves just as much respect as other Sony second party games. Greg constantly calling people excited about the announcement as "pervs" and Tim sounding like prudish grandma who walked into a bra store for the first time when talking about photo mode, is exhausting. Bless is the only one not whining about the game and what a coincidence, he's the only one that played it and finished it of the three. Enough is enough with Stellar Blade remarks, show some respect for an absolutely excellent game that released this year.

  10. its better that Sony doesn't share the time the PS5 Pro pre-orders go live to avoid the scalpers to be ready and mess it up for real customers. Also to try and save the website from crashing. Just have to be ready to go at all times which is hard for most but be prepared the best you can if you want one in the first batch.

  11. I had my expectations tempered since it was only announced the day before and wasn't disappointed. Wasn't expecting a huge influx of massive games and was more than interested in the new stuff shown and closer looks at things i was already excited for (Veilguard, Wilds) is always nice. It was a good State of Play.

  12. Horrible sound quality it sounds like they all have mics down their throat. I thought maybe it was on my end, came to check video to see if it had same issue then saw this as first comment.
