PlayStations complaints about call of duty seems almost too good to be true. But let’s just say that their complaints are correct 100%, that means their business is unstable. They depend on third parties and shit they don’t own to solve their problems. That’s a recipe for disaster and if the deal is blocked, it sets a precedent of laziness for companies and halting innovation and growth. Y’all really want the market leader to be this fragile and weak? If PlayStation truly can survive without cod than we need a new market leader and Sony might need a buyout or call it quits

One other thing too, let’s say the deal is blocked. Microsoft didn’t approach ABK and Phil even said Xbox will be fine if the deal doesn’t go through. Activison on the other hand could go out of business if the deal fails and they approached Microsoft. So if PlayStations ruins the deal two thinks can happen
1) activison goes outta business and no more call of duty
Or
2) ABK and Microsoft basically does what PlayStation does with square enix and they still don’t get call of duty. Because Lulu even said Microsoft 10 year contract is better than anything they’d get from activison themselves.
Either way blocking the deal will most likely result in them not having call of duty. And let’s say after 10 years Microsoft does make the franchise exclusive, that means just off this deal happening there’s a chance PlayStation could lose cod. Once again do you really want the market leader to be so fragile that they can make their own games without a game they don’t own?
