  1. Kinda crazy that it's selling so well considering almost all of their exclusives are coming to PC, they basically guaranteed I'd never get a PS5. At the same time I have been buying all of their exclusives on PC as they come out so maybe I'm the one they tricked because I'd possibly not get these games otherwise.

  2. No joke this makes me so happy I’ve had my ps5 for months and it seems like the community isn’t there probably because nobody can get one

  3. im sorry im gonna have to disagree with you bruce i feel like all the middle games will go to Nintendo. with the ps5 selling like it is now i think when ps fans couldn't get playstations they bought switches and said ill wait and play fun lil games my switch so now when they get tired of the big budget games there gonna go to nintendo not xbox and its going to create this ecosystem were xbox dosent fit. why would i have a xbox and a playstation. at this point microsoft needs to be looking at nintendo like maybe sonys no my problem maybe you are, because sony is proving that if want a top shelf experience you come to us

  4. When can we get rid of consoles and exclusives? Tired of paying for a specific piece of plastic thats built to break to pay for a subscription service along with the games and continually drifting controllers.

  5. Got a ragnarok disc edition for $440, it arrives Friday. I got my slim edition of the PS4 about this far into it's lifecycle… For $190… Still excited to finally play some of these PS5 games I have been missing out on

  6. For reference, a lot of retailers are still selling PS5 at scalper prices in Latin America, I can confirm that is the case for Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Chile, don't know about the rest but most likely they are the same.

  7. I picked up the ps4 for… I kind for forget now. ff15? ok.. ff15. Since then I did pick up the ps4 pro to be ready for red dead 2 and I had gotten the spider man bundle which turned out to be an amazing game as well. However outside of these exclusives (Horizon is one of my fav games of all time, too) I never really touched my ps4. I also do not really see myself getting a ps5. For one, with my large game backlog and I still spend so much time in ff14 still, I can wait for most of these exclusives to just come out on pc. I will say the ps5 is much better geared at giving me an experience close to my pc, something which I could never really say about ps4 and its 30fps limit and just about every game. But my game backlog means I won't be without something to play for a very long time (I also have a switch, octotpath 1 and 2 are just demanding to be played) so my need for a ps5.. pretty low.

  8. Holy shit you guys summed it up precisely!
I absolutely loved playing Spiderman, Horizon, Control, God of War, and Ghost of Tsushima.
But I also wish I could have played those middle tier games like Sea of Thieves and Grounded.

  9. I find it hilariously sad that only now do people see the stupidity of Sony's dispute with Microsoft. People are stupid AF. Like the argument about monopolization is absolutely valid, but we're talking about two major companies looking to monopolize. What one does over the other is not actually harming much when we're dealing with two companies with that exact history ANYWAY. The deal going through doesn't mean shit in the long run unless companies like Sony stupidly tank their own products on their own. That's an outcome that isn't all that unlikely.

If an MS acquisition of Activision/Blizzard means better games from those companies, instead of complete shit as "open" market company it currently is, I'd say it's worth it. Obviously, this is a big gamble, but Activision Blizzard isn't exactly producing great games currently. It's hard to fathom it getting worse than it already can be on their current path (implying MS will cause more harm to the franchises than the owners already do).

  10. To be honest, if you can't understand why Sony is fighting the Xbox merger despite their sale numbers being so good then you can't see what Microsoft is actually doing.

  11. I'm not sure I understand the comment, "get tired of prestigious games". What does that mean? These "prestigious" games are just big, high budget, and cinematic. We call them prestigious because they have a knack for presentation, but they are still different experiences. I'm not playing God of War and going "Man, this kinda feels like I'm playing Horizon!" Even another more open worldy type game, Ghost of Tsushima, didn't really FEEL like Horizon. Nevermind other heavy hitters like your Spider-Mans and your Last of Us and whatnot.

I really hope we don't just start lumping anything with top tier presentation and storytelling together and start going, "Oh man, here's another one of those PRESTIGIOUS games!" It's such a weird way to categorize these things. Like being able to tell a story and have really nice visuals somehow trumps what the actual game is somehow >_>

  12. With how sony's axed their regional development studios, I don't think you're going to get many exclusive ps5 games that aren't semi-open, 3rd person action games based around what familial ties means to the characters.

  13. IG is so hard on for the MS/Activ merger. Bro the main driver for Sony dunking on MS in games is because of MS' anti consumer BS at the launch of XB1. Since then MS has struggled to keep their flagship exclusives exciting through mismanagement.

  14. I find it funny you guys complain about Sony making "well made" games on a massive budget based on existing properties yet nentindo has been making games for decades based off of existing ip yet no one complains. I get the idea of aa games phasing out but they literally dropped sifu and returnal.
