Would love to supportba company that values its customer base, but its more viable for me to be in the hobby and print then it is to buy from GW… the amount of models ive printed has payed for my prints twice over and ive made some money off of them too.
I’d be interested in buying printed models and a customer heresy rule set or modification of Heresy 2.0 to fix the ongoing issues. Because you are a salty prick with high standards you will probably do a better job than gw
I would like to see that naval game.
Macca focus on more positive stuff because tbh I feel exactly the same about the stuff you bang on about. But today most things we see and read are negative,
From a buying perspective i can be discerning with my purchases as I have massive armies already (and a mate in China) but to be honest want to see more content fluff and tactica based. Also would love to see some updated in depth tactica around different legions that includes different lists to help with purchase/ equipment decisions for those of us that don’t get to play much. I still struggle to get a blood Angels list going against my mates iron warriors.
I'm pretty sure the sentinels are going to be a throwback to the old 2nd ed sculpts. GW seem to be going back to the old RT and 2nd ed ranges for more and more things as of late.
Realistically the pricing wont stop people but i do agree that SA should have tanks sold in pairs and id say infantry in 30 per box.
Could you tell us what you think about Warhammer The Old World, using a mixture of (very) old and new models together please?
Thanks mate
Well, the command squad should be coming this spring if the road map is anything to go by.
Game sounds interesting. I have wanted an excuse to print some modern ships.
As a former Guard player… we are used to getting shafted and ignored by GW proper. Harkon back to festivus comments, if they release the Auxilia in 20-man boxes, expect $110AD/$90CAD boxes… for one troop choice. Then, you'll still be waiting for Command, Support, Hvy and other choices. If they even bother with FW.
Current Gen 3d-Printer: $500
1L bottles of 3d printing resin: $30-50
3D Designs: $10-15
(insert "Virgin FOMO addict vs. 3D-Printing Chad" meme here)
Glad to see Apothecaries, but the updates on the armour marks are not my favorite. I love the traditional MkV helmet, but this one looks goofy, and yeah, their chainswords are more like belt-sander swords. Are all MkVI boots going to have the toes? I didn’t mind them here and there in the past, but I remember that most boots had the smooth toecaps, which are just cooler. All that bitching out of the way though, the MkV overall looks really decent, and the Mk VI helmet and raised Caduceus/Medicae symbol on the greave are groovy. Both models look to have great convertability potential as well.
By the way, congratulations on the new house- I hope that you, Mrs. Circle, and the dogs are very happy there. Have a great new year!
Auxilia was one of the coolest armies ive ever seen, i bought a couple of models but couldnt make it into an army because of the money needed
I think some of these kits will sell to IG players, for veterans and some visual difference. Probably also to people into Kill Team and/or Inq28. But whole armies for HH? Sounds like a 1:1 ratio of $ to points, which is just crazy.
Thanks for the video. :).
Yeah. Solar aux look expensive. Darn expensive. I’ll give that a miss. :).
Auxilia will be tempestus scion proxies.
I like the MK V shoulder pad, reminds me of more classic designs for bonding stud pads and I prefer it to the MK VI ones.
My main issue is the knee pads. A completely unnecessary change. Still much more salvageable compared to the new MK III which is just complete garbage.
They announced command squads already. The not sentinel looks like the Rogue Trader sentinel
A Maccasan transport! brilliant!
To me this seems like another "heresy" release thats geared towards 40k players since I'm 99% sure there getting plastic kreig and krieg used the same vehicles as the solar auxila, hopefully though since we've seen the new designed mark IV V and II with these resin apothecary and legion specific characters that 2024 will be focused on releasing the remaining marks of armour in plastic after the plastic melee upgrades sprues and command squad in spring
I wouldnt play Auxilla bevause of how unplayably bad they are but in the previous edition I was tempted. Id pay £30 for 20 in UK prices at the absolute max I think. Id just recast everything if I lived in Australia.
I'd love to collect Auxilia but I'd need a minimum of 120 lasrifles and I can't afford that. If they made Malcadors in plastic I'd buy three and not feel bad about that
I hate the roundness of the new sentinel. I think the Rogue Trader sentinel is derp.
How likely do you think Plastic malcador chassis will be coming with no floors?
I’d love to see more about your own game! Even just a run down of the models you’ve got prepared for it
I would like to hear about your game 🙂
The Sentinel is very obviously just a less armoured version of the new Epic sentinel. In fact, I bet that it's going to be an alt build for it.
The longer I look at GW's ever-increasing prices, the more sense I see in 3D printing.
I have a 3k points army that I started buying this year and I’m still missing 1 russ, a Malcador tank and a valedor tank, for flexibility. My army is: x1 command squad, 1x medicae team whatever it’s called, 2x ogryns (6models), 2 leman russ Krieg, 1 macharius, 2x veletaris, 2x axe guys, 1x flamer squad, 1x lasgun section, 3x mortars, 1x assassin all from FW all my savings there lmao hahaha slowly painting them
I honestly just want rules for the Imperial Army.
We’ve got rules for Militia, which is nice and fluffy, but basically just cannon fodder, and we have the tiny elite minority of the mortals in the SA, but we don’t have anything for 99% of the mortal human soldiers that made up the vast majority of forces in the Horus Heresy.
Seriously, just a pdf to use 40K Imperial Guard units in 30K, that’s all I want!
It's an force that I wish I could dabble in but it would take me years to buy enough kits. I'm a disabled brit who is on government benefits and GW outpriced me years ago. I occasionally treat myself to a kit once a year if im lucky from a third party. But I just can't see myself been invested.
Interested in the Naval game development. I’ve been looking for one that follows post cold war ship designs. But has a similar feel to BFG and uses miniatures, with less complexity than say the harpoon series.
I'm very interested in the Naval game Macca
Its interesting how the two most expensive armies ( militia and aux) are the two worst armies on the table. It's almost like they put just enough out to technically say, "here, play with mortals, nerds" but did it badly enough to encourage the, "ooo shiny imperial fist and sons of horus" crowd to never stop suckling that particular teat.
Idk, feelsbadman
I think it will heavily depend on the value you get from an intro box (if they release one for SA) you may also see more SA armies in places like England where GW don't mark up the price as much as Australia
Macca look at the 3rd edition metal sentinel. I think they used it to for inspiration make the Solar Auxila Sentinel like they did with the Space Marine Rhino and Land Raider vehicles
would love to hear about your wargame
I like the Apothecaries enough that I canceled my plans to 3d print some really nice STLs I found. I think that's about the highest praise you can give them. The quality of the official product was high enough, to me, that I chose not to use other available channels that were cheaper.
I also think the resin chainswords from the despoiler set look fancier than the plastic ones, which makes them more appropriate for officers and characters. If you can afford them, of course.
I will buy many kits of plastic solar axillary
How about plastic death Korps?
I say just 3D print all day every day even even if you don't want the army, this is way too little too late and GW just going way to hard pushing toward rubbing pleebs nostalgia buttons. They are just too greedy pushing more 40K cross play BS that pretty much will be used for 40K; it's literally all I see now and it's damn depressing.
Ah yes ..the elite Royal Navy
I really hope they are not gonna release solar auxilia In plastic ..I do not need any more minis ..I do need my money in my wallet!
New game…..tell me more!
Congrats on moving into a new joint
