I’m building a 53’ Flat Bottom Wooden River Boat, singlehanded. I maintain a 7 acre property with Millie, our rescue dog. We have kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, galahs, cockatoos and much more. Occasionally we even see a pair of stunning wedge tail eagles that have been long time residents of the area. I am also a musician and write and record all the music for each video.

Love learning from your videos – Can you please tell me your reasoning for not having the honeycombing running along the whole bottom of your boat?
ahh my favorite boat build !!!!
Looking great old chum. Looking forward to seeing the gangplank arrangement. A
Great work! I wonder, you say it’s for inland rivers but what would happen if you took it offshore? That narrow, straight stem would cut the waves like an axe I guess and from my limited knowledge of hydrodynamics I guess that flat bottom would be very stable, a bit stompy maybe, but stable?
