  1. 18:50 if ppl go "sadl;y there isnt a pathfinder equivalent to warhammer 40k" (leans in) battletech… bit cheaper, cool models, alot of starters with content for new players and long term players to invest and play for years. recently they had a ks to bring in new sets and starter boxes.

  2. I really like the guests who push the conversation into a heavy design space

I been binging the game design Playlist since the OGL kerfuffle and those by far are my favorite and gave me the tools I needed to lobby my group into trying pathfinder (and to consider battle zoo as official product, we don't use 3rd party stuff normally)

  3. I want to point out that in February WotC changed their policy so that "as soon as you have the cards, you can play them" then they send mercenaries to attack a YouTuber for doing exactly that 👀

  4. Part of me thinks that they should have gone with this spell system based on the MP system because 1 it will grab a lot of new gamers and two you can arguably balance certain spells a lot easier, by solving certain problems like oh this spell is incredibly broken well I'll just make it cost more! But the spell ranking system very much sounds like it's still essentially the slot system which is you have a number of rounds per shelf you can switch out the bigger caliber for your weaker spells but you can't do the reverse and most often not people can just burn the bigger shells on some of their more broken spells! That said I'm looking forward to the update!

  5. Man roll for combat is quickly becoming my favorite youtube channel. I don't play DnD or Pathfinder, but when Mark Seifter is on Stephen plays on Mark's Sheldon energy with berserker glee. It's amazingly entertaining. I saw Stephen on knights of last call and he was either sick or tired, low energy Stephan. Bring on Mark he pulls out the crazy man of stephen!
