Pineneedle Rest – Fallout 4 Player Home

A small cabin that has its own underground bunker. The cabin is situated on the edge of a tranquil, yet eerie pineforest, far beyond the western borders of the commonwealth. It has a tiny camp/settlement, so mass building is not advised.

  1. I really like a rustic or military style settlement and player home for Fallout 4. I am also a fan of the detailed storage system. (I hate simple crates) The off-grid lifestyle suits me perfectly.

Thank you Feb for dedicating so much of your personal time to us Console players who can only dream of having such nice homes and settlements.

  2. Really nice mod, very well thought out and I agree that there are things about it that remind me of skyrim homes. The storage layout love it and how clean it is, I am not a huge fan of mods that make the buildings run down and dirty. This would definitely be on my list during a play through. One thing about Fallout 4 that still boggles my mind is, why are the armor storage units called "mannequins" if they don't display the armor? That's just so weird to me. I love the way one mod author in Skyrim used the skeletons for armor storage, now that was a brilliant idea.

  3. It's a nice little place. You know I came from SSE and god almighty, almost every thing that they made was a pocket world home. And I hated it – everyone of them were locked into specific spots for their openings. Put a new one in and you had to get rid of the old one. But here in F4 you have the same problem, they made a work around. in F4 you can drop bunker openings almost anywhere no longer are you limited to the same set spaces, and mod makers should take advantage of the ability. Make huge hidden pocket worlds. Whole villages and quest linked adventures, with characters. Beautiful hidden landscapes – Post-apocalyptic Shanghai-la places. Great find, Feb.

  4. I believe I mentioned it once, good to see this, use to have this mod, it is so nice, and getting into the bunker took me some doing. Oh and the fast travel, you need to find the locations in the commonwealth before you can fast travel to them from the bunker. I love how it all works to, that was always a fav element of mine honestly, I wish Fallout 4 worked for me, then I could get this mod back. Those wolves though, yeesh! Man make sure you got levels behind you those wolves are no joke.

  5. Feels like this could have been some form of training area at some point, I can imagine some sort of military where the recruits have to stay in tents while the commander gets the cabin or something like that.

  6. Yeah this is great, both the world space of the cabin and the bunker space. Love the mix and I love the decor and set up. Such a great design. What an amazing mod.

  7. I was literally coming to your channel, link in hand, to recommend you look at this mod! I haven't used it myself, but I took one look at it as said to myself that it'd be right up your alley!

  8. I really like this as a start of game safe place. I love all of the interaction with it. I remember Leaf Rest from Skyrim required you to chop wood regularly for your fireplace. I would use this. Thanks for the video Febrith

  9. Hi. I stumbled upon your video and to be honest I was not expecting such a mature well spoken voice. (Usually it's younger folk. I watch Oxhorn who is also a mature gamer and knows his Fallout lore.) Wow! I have been playing Fo4 for 4 years or so now. My son, who is 21, introduced me to the game. I was a gamer before I had kids and got back into it a few odd years back with the Halo games. But Fo4 is my love. The mods the authors come up with like 'Outcasts and Remnants' and 'Project Valkyrie' just blew my mind. Elianora with her awesome mods and Neeher with his mods…
Anyways, cool video and glad I found ya. I hope to teach my Granddaughter how to play video games…when she is old enough, of course. Going to watch your other videos now. ๐Ÿ˜€
