On top of a hill is the Quisumbing mansion adjacent to the Army of the Philippines base…childhood memories from many years ago…overlooking from Cebu side to Magtan Island, and ferry ride to and from the airport, and Cebuano Lechon Baboy…and Magellan Sword in downtown Cebu… We also had a hill in front of our hilltop mansion complete with a Japanese Army tunnel complete with weapons. Entrance was subsequently dynamited by the Philippines Army to deny access to local civilians. Maybe the tunnel was bobytrabbed by the Japanese, and explosives are still working.
