  1. I love the commentary using cards, quotes, and lore!
However, I found it confusing and disorienting that art specifically tied to other planes was being shown during the discussions (e.g. Invasion of Eldraine's art being shown when discussing Pyrulea). These planes certainly have the barrier of having little art, but I kept having to rewind to make sure I wasn't getting the planes confused.

  2. I love the Phyrexians as an enemy type but am unhappy at how they seem to have been watered down in how they look now. The old Phyrexians looked much cooler and gruesome these new ones look weak.

  3. Hold on, how do we know Mercadia was the place Dyfed took the Halcyon elites? That was somethiing I missed completely — I know the other settlements outside Mercadia city were brought by a dragon engine that Urza reprogrammed during the battle on argoth though.
I also fully think that if the Mercadians remembered Volrath, they'd be happy to work with the new phyrexians

  4. So many strong and independent females where the cards could have been cooler dudes. Like that Marchesa in cool battle armor, with her foot on a statue of a man's head. Females aren't warriors and the agenda and rhetoric gets more obvious each day.

    Hmm
Karsus in D&D lore was a ultra power wizard that became a god of magic killing the previous goddess of magic so bad it destroyed "the weave" the material all magic is made from then turned to stone known as Karsus's folly
maybe he's a dead god plane now?
