This product combines a pillow with a phone stand and the results were a bit surprising. Today’s “Mail Time” video is the 2nd of a 5-part series testing out unsolicited products sent to my PO Box.

  1. The thumbnail looked a little silly, the color look looks a little retro. But it does look like it does this job it seems simple. I'm not too sure about $50 it could be almost worth it for the belt. But seems like I approve it LOL it does this job it's simple and it seems pretty sturdy

  2. Interesting. I wouldn't have given it a second glance so your review was helpful, but still wouldn't get it at that price. Maybe on clearance at bed, bath beyond one day

  3. I was tempted, but on Amazon Canada it's a whopping $120, from a 3rd party seller. Lolnope. Even a normal markup from USA to CAN would be doubtful (it would put it around $65 to $70 CDN). Not really worth the price unless you'd really make use of it.

The brand does seem to sell a lot of other stands, some of them reasonably priced and seem to have good reviews. Might pick one out. I occasionally play Disgaea 1 on my Galaxy Tab S7, but it's troublesome to prop up at a comfortable angle, so maybe one of their tablet-supporting stands will be worth looking into.

  4. wonder if you could posistion the arm over the top of the tablet with light pressure to help hold it still so it won't slide off? but it's that price point that kills it for me, about $25-30 would be more like it

  5. Did you realize that you can actually sit a tablet/notebook on that protrusion or bump and adjust the phone holder to catch the tablet at the top and that will hold it tight just like a smartphone?

  6. I have a rugged case on my phone as well as a pop socket on the back, which adds thickness to my phone. My phone is an inch thick with the accessories on it and I find the clamp like holders usually don’t take that into account. I notice your phone is in a minimalistic protective case, and I wonder if you can test these types of things with phones of variable thicknesses to give us viewers with bulkier phones some information that’s along that line. Even if you had old model phones in some rugged cases to function as a stand in. A lot of the clamps I have tried just don’t have a lot in the way of capacity and my phone pops out or the clamp hits the side control buttons and whatnot.

  7. Initially I didn't click on this video because the thumbnail of this product looked dumb. It kept showing up, so I watched it. Turns out that I would consider buying this silly stand. 🤫 I do wish it was less than $50 though.

  8. I just place a large, thin, hardcover children's book on top of my chest and any of my regular tabletop tablet/phone holders on top of the book… If I need padding, a blanket or thin pillow under the book works fine…

  9. looks like they have 3 versions now. the one reviewed is around $29-33, A mini version w/ smaller pillow and one joint on the arm, and a "pro" version that can fit a tablet or phone that stays at the $50 price point. hope you can review those for us in the future.
