  1. I hope they apply this rule to ALL rides. Why do people feel they need to be super glued to their phones all the time? You’re at Disneyland for freaking sake!! Enjoy the magic and get your head out of your damn phone!!

  2. My husband proposed to me by saying. “Oh what’s that little box in the tree?” That’s how I assume this would be used? You “hide” it in the tree to make it look like just an ornament and then when everyone’s around the tree you pull it out of the tree to propose. Because you’re right. No one is carrying that thing around in their pocket to propose! 😂

  3. I think the ring ornament idea is brilliant. I’ve seen so many proposals at the castle and I’d bet this will be a big seller to the people who want to propose there. And what a beautiful memory to be able to hang on your tree.

  4. In all the years working WDW Guest Relations, space mountain was always notorious. It would take the attraction cast forever to get all the items brought to lost and found and cell phones were the worst. Some nights over a dozen phones would be brought in, some smashed to bits or cracked screens. This process repeats..EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

  5. I haven’t ridden space mountain in a long time but all honesty if I were to ever record that ride I probably need a GoPro instead of using my vlogging stick. Especially because of all the type turns and fast maneuvers

  6. I'm glad they're banning filming on Space Mountain… though it's not going to work. I've worked at both Six Flags and Universal and I know that guests are going to whip out their phones no matter what you tell them. I don't want to go the route of metal detectors, like at Cedar Point or at Universal Orlando, but it seems like that's the only way to 100% get rid of it. I think most people who film things at theme parks are idiots anyways, unless they have big channels like this that will post something of good quality. Whipping out your phone on a ride and recording with your shaky hand is absolutely awful, the video is never any good, you're never going to watch it again anyways, and most people hold their phones over their heads and ruin the experience for everyone else. Plus, again, it's a safety issue. It got so bad at my home Six Flags park that they now MUST stop the ride and go onto the catwalks to yell at people to put their phones away, and then call security to give those people a warning – if not throw them out of the park. The reason they implemented that policy is because someone dropped their phone while filming and it fell onto the train under them and broke someone's nose. It's just unsafe, stupid, and pointless to film a roller coaster… or ANY ride for that matter, unless you are a professional who knows how to secure a camera and take a good quality video. Unfortunately, the idiots who do it won't see or heed this message, but for those who do not consider themselves idiots, please heed this message and stop taking your phones out on rides. You're not going to watch that video again, I promise you.

  7. You guys are great! You’re my go to for any Disney news, but you’re completely wrong about the engagement ring ornament. My son is prosing in 10 days. He just bought the ornament. His dream was to pop the question at their favorite spot in Disney, but they couldnt afford to go this month since we were just there in June. We are taking to the Christmas lights at the Toledo zoo and hanging it on one of their trees for her to find, and NOT with the plastic ring inside!🤣 She is going to love it and will have a beautiful keepsake to remember the day.
