People are realizing how great the Bears are. Once Fields gets a decent o-line, receiving core, tight end, defensive line, linebackers, safeties, cornerbacks, special teams and coaching staff, this team is gonna be unstoppable!

This is why I don't like the quarterback slide. The defense has to play it so safe that the QB can turn long runs because the defense is afraid to tackle the guy if he even remotely looks like he's going to slide. Either the QB is a running back when they cross the line of scrimmage, or they shouldn't be allowed to cross the line of scrimmage. Fields had some slides and some really long runs and I'll wager it's because the defense was afraid to hit the guy and draw a massive penalty. Time to take the bubble wrap off quarterbacks. You want to scramble? You're a running back now – especially when you have QBs that are as big as linebackers or even bigger.

Davonta Smith came up HUGE this game. I know people will credit Hurts for overcoming everything and keeping a cool head and the defense for holding them but without Smith making several important plays, we lose that game. Hell of a game by the Bears, gg
