  1. Not gonna lie I would sign up to watch “old school” football on Saturday’s over college. Maybe meet in the middle of 80’s football and now. I think that was the best football

  2. I was really hoping Seattle would figure out a way to hire on Eric Bieniemy and make him the heir apparent to Pete Carroll. Although there may be a chance that he’s still an assistant/offensive coordinator by the time Pete retires. Why he hasn’t gotten a head coaching offer yet is beyond me.

  3. I’m amazed Eric Bienemy hasn’t gotten a HC opportunity in the NFL yet, then again he’s not a yes man, he questions things, rubs people the wrong way because he’s tough on his players. Shady McCoy has an ax to grind with EB because he got benched in the SB.

  4. I don’t think a foreign country any foreign country or foreign national should be allowed to buy an NFL team. That’s a horrific idea. We have never done it before and we shouldn’t do it now. The day they do that is the day I stop watching pro football permenantly.

  5. Feel you with the stress. We all hanging in there. Also if Bieniemy's offense is great or decent and Ron Rivera somehow starts with a bad record going into the season than perhaps there is a chance that Eric may take the position of interim head coach and maybe somehow salvage the season enough to earn the position for the foreseeable future.

  6. O'l school football wouldn't work in today's market. Knocking out the QB or star players would be a bad product. Low scoring hard hitting football is just boring. 10 – 7 Superbowls is not most watch TV.

  7. Jeez Mike, is this all you do? NFL trivia videos EVERY day! Maybe take a vacation before the NFL season starts. Take the wife to Italy, go to Lisbon for a couple of weeks, do something! The NFL will wait.

  8. A friend of mine eliminated his Crohn's after years of taking probiotics and cutting out beer and certain other foods. His doctor told him recently that there was no trace of it left. Hang in there, Florio. It can get better.

  9. I just want good football. If it is a defensive game fine, if it is an offensive game fine. I dont like how they are taking defensive out of the game. Head hunting, yea that was necessary, but some of these other ones are ridiculous. I have seen so many cheap calls against the D that determined the outcome of a game it makes me sick.
They are catering to the highlight watching fan and there is alot of cheap offense. Thats not what I want. The XFL has great after the TD extra point options, which the NFL is so arrogant they wont adopt a great rule like that. XFL solved the KO problem, NFL wont dont it. Its a shame to. They should adopt any rule from wherever if it will make the NFL better.

  10. If the NFL and these teams are making so much money why do they even need tax payer money? If I renovate the bldg of my business I dont get tax payer money, I get a loan or fund it myself. I dont understand why taxpayers have to pay for someones business projects like building a new stadium. That should be on the team to figure that out with the profits they make etc. Offers stocks like all other business's do to raise money.

  11. For neutral site games, it would be AWESOME to see Bills vs Giants at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Or how about Giants vs Patriots at Rentschler Field in Hartford?

  12. I’m not a fan of the “Danielle Hunter is making under $6 million this year” rhetoric because while it’s technically true, his contract average was in the $14 million per year range and that was coming off a season ending injury and preceding a second season ending injury. Dude has a really high wage on a per game or per sack basis with his current contract. He hasn’t outperformed his contract enough to be demanding they give him $25 million a year. I like him, want him to get paid, and hope he’s a Viking for the season, but I wouldn’t put him in the range of the top 5 paid DEs going into this season.
