  1. He won't be VP because it would be a mistake for Kamala to pick anyone who outshines her. It is a shame that Biden's issues were covered up for so long that he was deprived of the chance to run in an open primary.

  2. So basically, we’re voting for a group instead of a single representative, and the face of the group can be swapped whenever convenient to no consequence. Sounds legit.

  3. 9:20 Stewart: "But you know, you were in the military, like, pretty clean"
    Buttigieg: "<tentatively> Yeah I think so….yeah" * audience laughter *
Stewart: "I don't want to say anything but it sounded to me right there like you're hiding something" * more laughter *
    Buttigieg: "<cringey laugh> Thanks a lot"

Well yeah, he kind of was Jon, but I think it was more that he was just surprised that you, Jon Stewart, apparently have no knowledge or criticism of his well-documented background lol. I guess Stewart couldn't be bothered to look up what Buttigieg did right out of college at the completely amoral consulting firm McKinsey & Company, or to learn about his scandal-riddled term as mayor of South Bend. I guess if Stewart had then that might ruin his silly little softball interview. Can't have that now! Sounded to me though like Buttigieg was a little worried there that Jon HAD actually done a little research and was about to hit him with it. No worries Pete, if Jon didn't bury Jim Cramer when he had the chance he ain't going to bury you lol. But Jon might want to read Nathan J. Robinson's pieces "All About Pete" and "More About Pete" in Current Affairs if he cares enough to find out what Mayo Pete was actually worried about.
