Pesticide Poisoning at Club Porkies Thika: The Murder of Juja MP George Thuo

๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ In this episode, we explore the mysterious and shocking death of George Thuo, former Juja MP, who was poisoned while at Club Porkies in Thika. Known for his close ties to powerful political figures and as a key witness for Uhuru Kenyatta at the International Criminal Court (ICC), where Uhuru faced accusations of crimes against humanity for his alleged role in the planning and financing of the post-election violence in Kenya following the 2007 general elections, Thuoโ€™s death raises questions about whether he was silenced because he knew too much about the 2007 post-election violence.

  1. Circumstantial evidence should never be used unless very compelling. On the other hand during the election violence, rumour has it that Thuo gave out his Citi Hoppa buses to transport the people who were being used to cause mayhem. So yes, his death could be linked to the ICC case.

  2. It makes no sense to sentence or the suspects due to failure of proper investigations its normal for people to hang around a popular person .what the investigations failured to do is to establish the motive of the murder and role played by the accused .10 yrs is too long to come up with a shoddy sentencing.

  3. Probably not all six were involved but definitely one or some of them were involved. How is it they took him to a nearby hospital and waited for an hour trying to resuscitate him before going to Aga Khan? A whole hour? giving time for the poison to do its thing. Guilty AF!

  4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think his death might have been involved with the ICC cases. And the fact that he seemed like a cool guy and was allegedly involved with the mungiki just baffles me!

  5. This one took me back to 2007. It's sad that all the characters in this case are very suspicious of that murder, but I have a feeling someone was jailed wrongfully.

As usual, much appreciation from this silent shadower! And your voice girl is amazing.

  6. The judge and prosecution did a poor job. They had to jail all of them just to get rid of the case. I don't think such an intrinsic murder could have been concocted by a crowd.
The prosecution could have a given that last lady who bought the drink a deal and she could have sung. Probably the actual perpetrator could have gotten life in prison.

In future would you kindly investigate the case of Willis Ayieko and the three ladies from Eastleigh?

  10. The risks we go through sharing a table with someone who could be on the radar of killers can easily land you in jail for several years. You could actually be sentenced to death for a crime you never committed.
