  1. Data wars!! I'd imagine a robot army needs highly precise lidar cloud point data in order to function on a modern battle field, imagine how many more balloons have already passed above unnoticed. The US likely has the entire planet thoroughly mapped, other countries just catching up..Seems like radar would pick up a massive balloon before it went coast to coast though, they should know what type of equipment was rigged up once they retrieve it…

  2. When are people going to wake up and realize nobiden is in bed with the chinese… Look at all the money they made of f china… They had the opportunity to shoot it down when it was out west… There are 1000's of unpopulated acres of land… The nobiden administration has allowed the chinese to do what they want… It is treason to collude with the advisories of our country… With the debris field several miles in 47 feet of water they will lie to the people telling us they were unable to recover it all… Again, they're in bed with the enemy…

  3. Yah gotta love those Chinese !…There just worried about those Japanese who they fear might try something, in the future, on/in Taiwan if there is no protection for the Taiwanese. Japan moves quickly and the US doesn't understand how quickly Japan moves. They need to.

  4. BAlloons are "controllable" in one way by going up or down in altitude to take the winds in whatever direction they are going at the different altitudes. I don't think this one is fully steerable in the way a blimp or derigible would be (with motors , propellers, and steerable thrust). It may or may not have had propellers or jets (thrusters)…. they should discuss these capabilities in detail!
