As someone with 2000+ hours in Left 4 Dead, I can confidently say that Back 4 Blood is a genuinely good game that deserves none of the hate it got, and it shines in its own way compared to Left 4 Dead. Both games are good. Sure on lunch B4B was probably quite bad for most, however right now the game is in a great place after 3 DLCs and countless bug fixes. Grab the game on a sale, preferably play it with a group of friends. The campaign is fun, challenging and infitely more replayable than L4Ds campaign, you can never get too comforatable with the difficulty, regardless of how good you are, one mistake could cost you.
I understand people may not like the game for what it is, however that does not make it a bad game, for many it hits a sweet spot that Left 4 Dead never could. Instead of hating and memeing on the game, just give it peace, it doesn't deserve to be bad mouthed in any way, especially now that it's matured into a much better game.
And peak, if you do end up reading this, I would be genuinely down to gift you the game on steam, just so you could play through it yourself. The game isn't that demanding on hardware at all and so long as you play with someone who owns the DLCs, you can enjoy all of the content that they add too whilst not owning them yourself.

I you want a challenge + bullshit play back 4 blood, if you want fun play left 4 dead 2, that's why I'm the last one of my friends to play back 4 blood. I can't even convice you to play this game because I needed 50 hours and 6 play sessions to find the game mecanics interesting and understanding most of them.

I play both. I like both gameplays and stories, but I still prefer L4D2 mainly because of its versus campaign mode and being able to add some mods.
