PD: Man killed in drive-by shooting in Phoenix

Police at the scene near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street say one man was shot and killed overnight. When officers arrived they located a 46-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in the driveway of his home. He was taken to a hospital where he died. Police have identified him as Mark Resendez. Through an initial investigation, detectives believe Resendez was in front of his home when an unknown vehicle drove by and started shooting at him.
