PAYDAY 2 is Still Amazing 9 Years Later…

So I played Payday 2 again in 2022 and I had an absolute blast! 9 years later, Payday 2 is still one of the most popular games on Steam and it’s easy to see why with the sheer amount of DLC and customisation that this game now offers, with a wide variety of weapons and equipment! PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original PAYDAY crew – Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains – as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree.

  1. For all the Flaws..Games like Payday 2 and Killing Floor 2 truly feels like one of a kind FPSs rather than them trying to follow a Popular FPS genre trend.

  2. Always more payday, Played the absolute crap out of 2, Solo'ing Shadow raid, and getting Nobunaga's armor. Was so much fun and felt rewarding. Used tripmines as motion detectors and would setup all over the warehouse to monitor guard locations. Cant wait for 3

  3. the only bad thing about payday 2 is how much DLC's it has, if you want everything you need to spend around 200 dollars for all of them. But even by owning one DLC currently I had and still have a ton of fun while playing it. I actually like playing silently on death sentence.

  4. My one and only issue with Payday 2 is that despite there being a bunch of difficulties, there are only really 3. The first is boring. The second is a power fantasy. The third is masochism. I crave a middle ground between completely turning by brain off and needing to play at close to my maximum ability.

  5. NO it has sucky performance and difficulties that just change the enemies stats and "build variety" when everyone just chooses 1 out of 8 viable builds and maybe switches every once in a while to not get burnt out
