  1. Until this trial I didn’t hold Lt. Governor Dan Patrick in high regard. I must say, he has done an outstanding job keeping this trial going smoothly. It’s a disgrace Paxton put everyone in this position because he wanted to get at Rick Perry for vetoing that bill funding a crime unit because that former nitwit DA out of Austin wouldn’t resign because of a dui.

  2. The problem here is ignoring what was reported by the whistle blowers. Defense is not making them the bad people in the room. Evidence combined with testimony is at hand and it's unethical to ignore this. The failure of law.

  3. America has become a laughing stock around the world due the incredulous criminality of Trump & his cabal. Warren Kenneth Paxton is a member of the cabal and has now brought shame on himself and the People of Texas. To me a simple man it is so easy to find Paxton guilty of serious crimes for taking massive monetary gifts from Nate Paul in a quid pro quo deal. Specifically Paul provided renovation services at no charge to Paxton plus provided him a love nest for Paxton's extra martial affair. All of this was done while Paxton was acting in his A.G. capacity. SMH 😮

  4. Why didn’t the lawyer say did you tell Ken Paxton that you were going to the FBI (on such and such date), because the attorney was trying to trick Bangert into looking bad.

  5. Reporting criminal behavior is not a betrayal unless loyalty to criminal bosses is something to praise. Apparently, Paxton's defense strategy is 'snitches get stitches,' just like other low-life criminals.

  6. Does anyone get what this line of questioning is supposed to establish or how it helps the defense? It just seems like unfocused and ineffective character impeachment to me. I don't get it.

  7. Sure appears that the AG surrounded himself in patriotic, constitutional advocates and was called out for his criminal activity. The one thing I find hilarious is that his attorneys are grossly attempting to make his alleged crimes legal. It’s lovely watching patriotic republicans calling out gross violations of holding a government office. The bad ones always forget their boss. The public. Time for jailing all of them that can’t follow the basic human roles and government oath of office and responsibilities.
