  1. Crazy how something so old, with such history and craftsmanship can be practically worthless.
I understand it doesn't function as a sword but I doubt many samurais buy their swords in Ricks shop so let's be honest it'd likely be a display piece anyway. Collectors really are pedantic SOB's aye

  2. I Wonder Though It Got Burned In A Major Battle In WW2 Remember There Were Alot Of Japanese Soldiers Burned By Flame Throwers! And Perhaps That Sword Could Of Been Burned Up By A Flame Thrower And If It Was The Value Could Go Up

  3. I don’t think the blade having fire damage should take away from the value that much the blade is still 400 years old and was most likely used in battle just because it’s a little fragile isn’t gonna make difference when it’s hanging on ur wall

  4. It's pretty cool that I could own a 1600s battle used samurai sword for only $500. It being labeled negatively as being only a practice sword and not being collectable seems strange considering not many collectors would be looking for a sword fight. I think it's age and history makes this a collectable piece. Although that opinion is from someone who knows less than nothing about swords and is stoned watching YouTube at 3 in the morning.

  5. Mike is probably my favorite guy on the show. But a 1600's actual real, probably tamahagane Japanese sword that was clearly used, and most likely fought in a battle where a castle burned to the ground and it still survived isn't worth more than $500? Sell me that sword. Pft. Fire damage. Give me that.
