Paul Pogba reveals SHOCKING reasons that forced him to turn down a move to Man City

Paul Pogba has exclusively told Mail Sport that he was open to joining Manchester City in 2022 – but felt he had no option but to leave the city for personal reasons.

Guardiola wanted to add a new versatile central midfielder to fill the void left by captain Fernandinho, who was leaving at the end of 2021-22 season.

Pogba was a free agent that summer and City explored the possibility of signing the midfielder, despite his links to arch-rivals United.

In an exclusive interview with the 31-year-old midfielder in Paris on Wednesday, Pogba confirmed that he was aware of the interest from City at the time. But staying in Manchester wasn’t a realistic option.

  1. This guy is an absolute scumbag. A club breaks a world record fee for him and he wants to run off to their rivals for basically zero fee. Mercanery of the highest order wanting oil money while robbing what he could from United before. Wanted easy trophies didn't want the fight, was never up for the fight so Pep rejected him.

  3. It's hard to feel sorry for a guy who was the highest paid in the league playing awful football, more interested in his social media presence and fortnite dances. Expect a Saudi move

  5. The interviewer is terrible, you ask a question and while he's answering, you divert to something else completely different, I still wanted to hear more on the Mourinho issue, on the pre-season etc….
