  1. Thanks so much for suggesting the Beau Chateau channel. I’ve just binge watched their entire series and have become mesmerized. Billy & Ryan, you both make us laugh and I’m quite awed by The Pethericks all around. Last fall I bought a home about 15 minutes from Ernee after watching your work on the chateau and after years of trying to decide on a location in France for a second home. Now, the convent has me watching your channel daily. Thank you.

  3. I am an avid watcher of Billy’s channel and have never noticed any mispronunciations, maybe because his quality of being a good human just shines from him. You’re not too bad either Ryan! 😉 Very fond and appreciative of you both.

  4. Nice Job Guys, I like what your doing, The new corner shot looks great, The first shot, flat on ,wasn't very pleasing, But this corner shot gave it depth, Just throw a plant in the window sill and a small one on the table, Billy's shot is perfect, Ryan 's shot has to much dead space over your head, The center shot need's to be tilted up a tad and punched in. Then you'll have a proper set. Maybe have some beers during the talk. Keep Doing what you do. Cheers

  7. Youtube has made my day! It started during the lockdown, only the best have I kept (yourselves included) If people don't like it they don't have to watch. WOKE LOL don't spend much time trying to define a silly word.

  8. Everytime Billy buys something for the Convent I'm hoping he can afford it. I enjoy seeing the whole process. My wife and I watch from Texas and would love to travel there one day knowing all the hard work that went into it.

  9. I don’t really care if you pronounce those words “wrong”, but I can tell you – as a former teacher – that there are times when I’ve corrected someone’s pronunciation, not to be rude or malicious, but to educate (and I did probably p!ss someone off). Like when someone says “nuke-u-lar”. Instead of “nuclear”, or “mischieveous” when the word is “mischievous”. Some words are mispronunciations, and some are just regional pronunciations. Take the word “water”, for instance….some actually say “water”, some say “wadder”, and some say “wah-uh”. It’s regional.

  10. The Booms! are things collapsing or moving…you have just said that you are near the lift shaft. Old houses make noises. Edward Snowden said he once watched a man at his computer, the other side of the world, with his little son on his knee and they had no idea they were being watched. NO children under 18 on the web!!

  11. NO! Don't move from France! Love from Texas ! I thought it was very close thunder storm a couple of nights ago…but "something ran over my roof and tripped the security lights. Dogs and coyotes don't jump that high, but the large cats do ! I think it was after my racoons who live in the eaves. As my son says. "For goodness sakes Mother…don't go out.. this IS Texas!"

  12. Good to see you Ryan. You take care of your self. My sister and I took care of Mama the last six years and it was hard. Thank goodness for my sister. Be careful with your site. I got a message from “you” telling me I won a prize and message you on telegram to collect it. I assume it was scam. Very much appreciate you two. It’s like listening to grandchild having a chat.

  13. It is my opinion that we are robbing the channels we regularly enjoy if we don't at least watch/run through the advertisements. It is the least we can do. And, how can anyone be against Patreon, a voluntary contribution to creators, for the content that we are enjoying.

  14. I am glad that you don't take to heart the bullying. The bullies are an embarrassment to themselves. Some of them have very little worlds that revolve around finding ways to try to make others miserable. In the end, they are the miserable ones. Keep being positive.

  15. Cheers from America. I love in the Pacific NW. you’re right, there are nice and unkind people in all countries. I was not born here, I was brought up here in California and I find people in all states vary. My husband is English and I enjoy all kind people no matter where they’re from. I adore your channels. Thank you for the entertainment.

  16. Always remember the nasty comments say more about the person sending them than they do about you and probably reflects how jealous they are of all you have achieved. Love all you do, thank you for sharing your world with us.

  17. I am American and understand your aversion to snakes and bitey things. I live in North Carolina and we have snakes enough for everyone. I must say you two are great fun to listen to. Billy you would make a great cowboy. Why not get a horse and a few heads of cattle so you can see what it is really like. Horse manure, cow pies, vet bills, food and housing for all. As I have aged (67), I have come to realize that what you see on the surface is not all there is. I love the videos of the Convent and all the renovations you are doing. Ryan should stay the night there a few times before he decides to live out of his office (or as he said – Billy's office LOL). Take care and stay well.

  18. Fellas, that was a nice, relaxed chat, and I think whoever really listens to it will come away learning a few things about what it takes to work all day in the convent, and make and edit videos. As for the naysayers on YouTube, maybe they came from a family where all they heard was criticism and " hate-speak ". Anyway, thanks for the great content and keep up the good work around the convent. "By-the-bye" where's Richard these days?
