Ask kids their Name first and last allow the ink to dry and clear coat or laminate so they can't remove the personalization if the parents are sending the kids to get autographs to sell. And only sell non-personalized for charity Like Make a Wish do a limited run like 500 with certificate and the requirement that if bought or sold 25 percent has to go to the charity with each transaction so if a pawn shop offers $100 they would hand you a check for $75 and send $25 to the charity on the front end and if the sold it again for $200 they would get the $200 but again be required to send an additional $50 to the charity.

This reminds me of another scumbag back in 2015 I think it was, before a Mets game where he was taking away signed balls by Noah Syndergaard from kids. It stopped until finally a brave mom stood up to that loser and yelled at him, all the while carrying her child. The scumbag ran away.
If my son or daughter was waiting for an autograph and kept getting elbowed by some @$$clown, I'd whoop his @$$ and then sign his baseballs with weird symbols just to p!$$ him off.
As a 27 yr old that collects sport memorabilia, I can honestly say, I already feel like I’m too old to be bothering someone for their autograph when some kids day could be made with that time. As much as I would love stuff to add to my collection, if there’s more than a couple people around the person, I giving them room to breathe and chalk it down as a “maybe next time”🤷🏼♂️. These assholes are just as bad as the paparazzi.
When I was in high school, my baseball team went to a tournament in AZ during spring training. We went to the mariners camp the first year Robison signed that contract. These assholes started pushing kids out of the way to get to Robinson. My teammates and I started blocking them, pushing them back, and Robison yelled at them. They're some of the worst types of fans in sports and they all look the same. It's so annoying.

A group of my friends sold comics and baseball cards at shows in the 80s and would head to the hotels where teams were staying. One friend saw Dwight Gooden about to cross the street and booked it over beside him with his rookie card asking for him to sign it… well, he did sign it… just a lot of scrawl plus he bent it! 😆

The way I like to go about autographs is you get the privilege to be there and ask if they don't sign it then it's because they ran out of time or you just got unlucky. If you do get it then it's one item and ONE ITEM ONLY. You say thank you so much then you dip and let other people attempt to get one.

Those people are why Dave Grohl doesn't sign anything anymore. You'll have someone tell you the biggest sob story about their nephew with cancer and then see whatever you signed go up on eBay the next day. I think he still does stuff for charity, just not randos off the street.
