  1. back in the late 1980's/early 90's, airlines had a few decompression accidents in a short period of time. in one, the whole top of the fuselage came off.
each accident was linked to the age of the plane – metal fatigue due to a large number of takeoff/landing cycles.
passengers started asking about the age of the plane they were booked on, and cancelling flights on anything over 20 years.

  2. I actually never wanted a cruise bc of the titanic. Remember a cruise ship tried to show off and scraped the boat on a huge rock and it sank? It sank on its side. It can happen if someone is silly enough in route. 🤦‍♀️Costa Concordia was hella nice n a waste of money too.

  3. ME: spending 80% of my week inside my house, happy as ever, watching this, and suddenly I hear "not living like a hermit crab inside of your house, those are the most miserable people in the entire world" . HEEEYY I'm not miserable 🤣. The calculated risk of exiting my house in California is at least negative 100 dollars by the time I return to my house. I totally understand your message though, live life to its fullest.

  4. My first cruise was a week after the Costa Concordia tragedy. I remember the ship was half empty due to last minute cancellations. It was an awesome cruise.

Having said before booking any excursions I would look at the safety record and reviews of the operator.

  5. Myself personally, i dont see people canceling excursions (or even a cruise) as being stupid. Say whatever you will about it. But in the end, its tgeir money and their decision.

  6. Only bad thing about submarine trips ☠️ was that there was so much algae on my window that could barely see out 😂 it wasn’t unsafe at all, just got really unclear photos! All booked through my cruise ofc ☠️ people just want to complain for money, not for safety

  7. Another thing about the difference between submersibles and tourist subs — 22ft is novice scuba diving depth. In Jamaica, I went at age 12 on my first scuba dive at a max depth of 30ft. It will definitely not crush you instantly, which will happen at 4000 m/13000 ft.

  8. Anyone that cancels a cruise over the Titan submersible debacle, is a fool! Forst off! Cruise ships are regulated, inspected, etc., by people that aren't going through life with more money and hubris than sense! And also, if you're on a cruise ship, it's not gonna go underwater, down to depths that its not cleared to be at! Theres no comparison between getting on a cruise ship, and getting in a janky death trap, disguised a submarine!

  9. Sorry Jay after listening to this, yes humans are interesting but some are as thick as shit!
Unbelievable the lack of logic, actually common sense of some Homo sapiens ! (Humans).
How on earth can anyone think that the tragic implosion of the Ocean Gate has any correlation with cruising and the tours offered on said cruises, is beyond me.
