  1. Sorry, but that dice animation is horrible. The timing is just like a slot machine, and the twist on spot is very unnatural.
Developers, if you have any time spare (ha ha) please consider doing a roll that is pre-calculated to land on the result and run a reverse kinematic. A nice example of dice animation is the “dice so nice” module on foundry VTT

  2. The game looks alot of fun, but really need some more uses for gold, an equipment for characters, and needs a 2 extra classes that are peculiarity from pathfinder, cleric and Alchemist

  3. Man, this game looks so bland and boring. There are so many good games within the genre and they came up with this snore-fest of a game hoping to get carried by the PF franchise?

  4. This game feels disappointing. They had the opportunity to use the tabletop levels and spells in a cool way, but instead it is another generic vampire survivor with the same powers you see around.

  5. It's just really bad, even for an EA. It's a tech-demo at best and even then it seems fundamentally flawed.
Play literally any other survivors-style game instead.

It's in a way an achievement. Despite having so many other survivors games to look at for inspiration this game stripped everything interesting from the genre and added nothing new. Their lack of creativity and inspiration is astonishing

  6. The factoid that Aroden was the last living Azlanti is actually false: Even ignoring the Best Trap Ever™¹, others survived past his death at the start of the Age of Lost Omens through various methods, (the vast majority by being outside of time in the city of Xin-Edasseril).

1: There is a trap early in a PF1 Adventure Path that can result in a character being turned into a pure-blooded Azlanti, (as human, except replace the +2 to one ability score with +2 to all six ability scores). The character also becomes female and is the spitting image of {SPOILER}, which can become relevant in some later encounters.

  7. Tip on good tileable ground textures: use multiple transparent meshes, and shift each one individually when you tile, it will make some shapes come back up, but almost never all textures together, and if you rotate them even more so

  8. Maybe after your items get locked in you could get like… evolutions for the abilities? Like specialized super variants that you have to choose between? Or even better after they get to a specific level so that, if you hold off, you could even grab the item again and go for like a “full sword run” or a “full runspeed run” or something

  9. If you are going to play Starfinder1e I recommend looking into the Starfinder Lore because that is really the part of Starfinder I love the most. Playing in that setting is really cool 🙂

Also Starfinder2e will be 100% compatible with Pathfinder2e, so they can make their Starfinder classess more unique <3 We have gotten the base of the Soldier class and it is no longer just 'fighter in space' it is heavy armour, heavy demolition and munitions Aoe <3

Because if you want to play a fighter in Starfinder2e, you can just create a fighter 😉

I generally adore "weapon mutators" that are still items, but can completely change weapons to function differently, like making the bastard sword be a weapon that you have circling around you like a centient floating weapon, or make it a throw instead of a swing, making it more ranged but reducing the cone of damage drastically…

  12. I loved playing Pathfinder, primarily because my DM let me play as an alchemist and I got to have fun crafting things for the party, and doing all the number crunching to super reduce +1 enchantments in both price and time to enchant. A +1 enchantment was doable for less than like 1/4 the price of buying it and done in a day (less than a day technically but you could only craft one magical item a day).
As for magic with cyberpunk.. Why not consider Shadowrun? I played a lot of fourth ed, and DM'd / played some 5th ed and generally enjoyed it, but never played 6th.

  13. All upgrades just differ in the amount they give you. You may gain +1 projectile even from common gray choices. The difference is just that gray ones give you like maybe 0.05 projectiles and legendary ones give you maybe +0.3 (random numbers, I don't know for sure). Therefore if you accumulate a whole number of projectiles, you gain +1 on a weapon
