We had some issues getting stuff out this week!
We will be releasing part 2 asap! But we didn't want to not put this out bc it was a lot of fun!
Thanks for watching!
when the time comes to react to the behind the scenes playlist you can take it as a break from the world while you just happen to be recording your viewing of it if that makes sense. So then it’s less like work if you know what I mean. It’ll make you cry even more than the movies did!
Gandalf (Olórin) created/Invented Fireworks. He’s a Maia after all. And hobbits tend to have resilience to evil to keep it simple. they’re very small and agile.
The thing you asked for on discord won’t send since one of you needs to accept the friend request. It’ll keep bouncing back with errors until then lol 😂❤
finally… hope u liked it get ready for 3rd movie
Part two seems to have gotten hit with copyright. The playlist says 2 but only part one is there haha.
This book started me on my reading journey many, many years ago. It has a special place in my heart.
Alright. I sent the stuff you wanted again. I should really join your patreon. I think I’d be more easily able to reach you guys? I can’t find the discord group I heard about. Could I get an Invite via discord DM?
I’ve always been curious. Which one of the two is likely the one to be replying to people on here? Sorry I get curious about things sometimes. (It’s probably to do with my autism). 😅❤
Did you know there are 25 books in total? (I’ll list some of them in the next paragraph)
The Hobbit(There and Back Again) [1937] The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship( 1954) The Two Towers (1954) The Return of the King (1955) The Silmarillion (1977) Unfinished Tales (1980),Children of Húrin (2007) Beren and Lúthien (2017) The Fall of Gondolin (2018) The History of Middle-earth (12 volumes, published between 1983-1996):
– The Book of Lost Tales, Part One (1983)
– The Book of Lost Tales, Part Two (1984)
– The Lays of Beleriand (1985)
– The Shaping of Middle-earth (1986)
– The Lost Road and Other Writings (1987)
– The Return of the Shadow (1988)
– The Treason of Isengard (1989)
– The War of the Ring (1990)
– Sauron Defeated (1992)
– Morgoth's Ring (1993)
– The War of the Jewels (1994)
– The Peoples of Middle-earth (1996)
I apologize for the confusion. "Laws and Customs of the Eldar" was actually first published as a part of "Morgoth's Ring" in the year 1993. However, it was later re-published as a separate book with the same title in 2018, edited by Christopher Tolkien.
I missed “The Lay of Leithien" which is an ancient style long narrative poem by J.R.R. Tolkien, which tells the story of Beren and Lúthien, one of the great love stories of Middle-earth. Other stories were included in it too which helps us glean so much more information on what else was happening in that era in a more satisfying way. The poem was initially written in the 1920s and 1930s, and was later revised and expanded by Tolkien over the years. It was eventually published posthumously in the book "The Lays of Beleriand" as part of "The History of Middle-earth" series in 1985.
My all time favorite story.
My mom, god rest her soul, read us the hobbit as a bedtime story. Yes we were poor, but mom would always read to us for at least 30 minutes every night. ages 4-12.
It took a few months , but she also read us many others. Such as "the dragon riders of Pern" and " Dune". I believe those reading helped each of her 3 children become very imaginative and we are all successful problem solvers to this day
Thanks for the reaction!
Read the books guys. I know they're long, but it's well worth it
Bilbo gave frodo his sword when he got to Rivendel
Don't worry about all the haters. I hope it's a good story line. I'm not sure why people don't like it
Darn, I really wanted to hear the Dwarves sing "Far over the Misty Mountains Cold".
I'm not crying. You're crying I start tearing up just the mention of this story. I just started rereading The Hobbit last week.
Balin is the dwarf in the grave in the Mines of Moria in LOTR. Gimli is the son of Gloin.
"In a hole in the ground there lived a Hobbit" and so forth is the beginning of the book, which JRR Tolkien wrote on a paper he was grading at the time.
The Hobbit is an awesome movie (of course nothing is ever exactly like LOTR)! Don't listen to the haters they never satisfied 🙂
Reginald the Brown 😂
Hes one of those YEAHHHHH😂
Bittersweet fact: Sir Ian Holm developed Parkinson’s disease and it got quite nasty. He stopped acting altogether, but Peter Jackson and crew were hoping to have him reprise his role as Bilbo, and he agreed as a favor to Peter, and I like to think he did it for the fans too. He couldn’t fly to New Zealand, so they set up a private studio in London with a small crew and all the time in the world. There, he gave his final performance (I believe this is his last acting job), and one that I think should and can and be appreciated by all. I think he was flawless. RIP Sir Ian Holm.
Arms and legs and everything…
Elvish weapons are the finest made….embued with elvish magic…..
I love you so much and I would like to share this with you. The condemnation is this that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But this is the gospel which means the good news. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. And the only way to be saved is to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. Believe that he died and was raised on the third day by God the father. Ask him to receive the holy Spirit. Repent from your sins (which means turn away). And be baptized in the name of the father son and the Holy Spirit. God bless you and have a good day. 🙏 John 3:16
Oh yesss. The day finally came❤
I notice you’re not watching the Extended Edition of this film. Even though the Hobbit trilogy is nowhere near as good as the LOTR trilogy, the Extended Edition is still superior to the theatrical release version that you appear to be watching.
The trolls turning to stone was the story bilbo was telling the children hobbits at his party in fellowship of the ring
Don't worry about crying. It's the epic music. Its like designed to play with your emotions lol
Just an opinion on this one about why Hobbits don't wear shoes. Firstly, their feet are very tough and resilient, so no need. Secondly, Hobbits are tied to the earth and growing things. Going without shoes keeps them in touch with the earth. A fun bit, Radagast the Brown is played by Sylvester McCoy, who played the 7th Doctor in Dr. Who. Seems fitting that a wizard should be played by the Doctor.
"I'm gonna cry for some reason. Are you supposed to cry?" <3 Ms October <3 When the soundtrack for The Shire plays it ALWAYS makes me cry, and I've had this exact reaction of questioning why. I think it conjures up an emotional mix of feelings; memories of home, nostalgia, innocence, family and friendship. LOVED this, as always. A nice fun break from the bleakness of Game Of Thrones. LUL
Please keep in mind that the tone of the Hobbit films is different than TLOTR, and it’s meant to be. The Hobbit book was written with younger kids in mind. That’s why some of the dialogue is sillier, some of the scenes have less blood and less mortal danger, etc, compared to LOTR because the films mirror the tone of the books.
You mentioned Bilbo in Marvel as a villen but he was a good guy. It was Gallum who was Claw in the MCU
This trilogy definitely isn’t as good as LOTR but I still enjoy it a lot.
